oh so many negative feedback already...

sure some guy from YTL is monitoring feedbacks from lowyat.net.... they better revise or come with a unlimited but throttled speed plan...otherwise all other 3g and P1 would keep smiling away...

Any idea how much the phone costs?
And can you tether the phone to your laptop?
*
The phone itself is about RM599.You can use the phone as modem for your laptop.

This plan is mainly aim for those user who only use it for normal surfing portability.Of course is not suitable for us who heavy download or mass streaming video.But i would get it if they dunt have auto renew subscription every month.

I don't really like to use the handphone to go online. The battery is a problem. It drains out real quick.

I think the rebates will be the key differentiation.

However I do have questions, since it's 9 cents per 3MB. If I'm using 2.6MB, is it round up per block to 9 cents as well. Is it charged per session or only accumulate every month?

I think it is not a bad deal.

Maxis and Digi charges users 10 sen for 10kb.

YES only charges 9 sen for 3000kb.

The only concern now is that is there any billing limit or not.

For those wishing to get a touch screen phone, there's HTC 4G Max,But that phone is also dated.

But you can't apply that pricing to internet surfers using the desktop.
That kind of pay as you use pricing scheme was meant for those who surf WAP sites on their GPRS phones.

To apply this with a 10mbps line is insane!
Each gigabyte will cost you RM30. Compared to 3GB plans of other mobile isps it's way overpriced.

For comparison, a multimedia rich site which uses flash mostly requires like 2mb to load.
How large a HD Youtube video is? It's around 100mb

Is the phone 3G+WiMAX or WiMAX only? When available rclxms.gif ? HTC MAX definitely better than the Samsung one.

http://www.htc.com/www/product/max4g/specification.html

It says in 2.5-2.7Ghz ... not for Malaysia WiMAX cry.gif

This is the one launched in Russia.

Yeah. Users will went crazy if like that.

However, if there is any upper billing limit, some people might consider about that.

Yeah. I guess they just want people so surf light traffic web pages like the news papers site only.

Let's see how it goes when YES reveal all the T&C.

The phone does not has a built-in hardware firewall and it is connect to laptop by USB cable.
but the hardware VPN firewall only has a WAN port and four LAN port.

1mb=0.03cents

so if u use 10GB per month, they will charge u for 0.021 cents for 1mb

so 1gb=1024mb
10g=10240mb
10gb=Rm 215.04

For Every 4GB and Above, u will get Rm9 Rebate for Each GB

so u will get Rm90 rebate on ur next month..

Anyway Stay Tuned for Tmr smile.gif
