roy918: So we should add those under 5% rebate spending, and then only RoundDown to calculate the 5% ?

DirectAccess points used to be valid for 1 year, with the expiry date clearly written on the monthly statement.

When it was changed to 3 years, they just moved the expiry to 3 years.
Every month's statement shows the same expiry date.

I guess it's not 3 years from transaction date.

In fact they do accept application through email. I have no idea why the bank does not want to disclose such method.

Likely yes ... credit card risk management system also check customer's ability (and consistency) to pay their bills. This indicates whether you are a good paymaster or not - if you are not, bank will flag you out coz they don't want themselves to have these kind of customers as well.

Lara, I believe the rebate is calculated based on nearest ringgit of TOTAL SPENDING for each category (1% rebate and 5% rebate) and not rounded down for each transaction. That's why you will be seeing 10cent difference from your calculation.
*
That's why I ask him whether his rounding is correct or not. And roy918, you are right.

They increase my credit limit less than 1 year. I remember they increase my credit limit after I hold the card around 7 months flex.gif

Added on October 15, 2010, 2:06 pmGuys, 1 pretty girl in Endah Parade just now approach me to ask me to sign up the Standard Chartered Credit Card sweat.gif ~ I told her that I got 5 cards with me already. Then she told me if I apply Gold Card , I will get RM 88 cash back wo and if apply Platinum can get RM 188. She did show me the statement that StandChart give a cash back. Guys, what you think ? Since it got cash back RM88,I don't mind kena charge RM50 for GST but most make me tempting is the freegift on the spot ... got umbrella, stainless steel drinking bottle somemore.

hmm talking about SCB-Plat Business card, it is stated that there's UNLIMITED FREE access to KLIA lounge, do I need to have minimum charges on flights ticket before I could do so? Or even, is there a need for flight transaction (in usual case I charge my flight thru amex bus)?

Currently i'm using amex business card for flight charges pertaining to business expenses, was thinking if this SCB-Plat Business card is useful for me for frequent travelling?

How do I take advantage of the OCBC TITANIUM 0% credit card interest until 31-dec-2010?
Does it mean that I can accumulate my credit card balance until 31-dec-2010 only then I paid the accumulated amount and there wont be any interest or charges incurred?
Sorry that this might be silly question to some.

You still need to pay the 5% or RM50 as the minimum due for the month.
