usually you guys take protein supplements or protein bars right after you work out right??

does taking eggs/milk/yogurts do the trick too? i know these are much lower in protein than actual supplements but at least it does help right?

yes they are lower in terms of protein but you can eat more lol. whey protein is efficient and also more expensive than regular source of protein, you know protein/RM ratio.. =)
whey after work out, bars when you feel like puking from too much egg perhaps? haha

I see, thanks a lot. yea the thing is whey protein is not cheap and im not really trying to get into bodybuilding, just go to the gym to get fitter so i might as well take some foods which contain protein after that cause i heard that consuming protein after working out helps a lot to muscle building.

well who knows after some time i might gain more interest in bodybuilding and start buying and taking supplements tongue.gif

After how many weeks of training is suggested to take a week. Off for the muscles to recuperate?

Do u guys do that or just train all year long

I train at least 5 times a week + 1 day cardio = 6 times

sometimes i don't stop at all.. 7 times per week... But is the best if u workout for 5 days and rest 2 days.. I usually eat a lot of quality food to recover and rest more...

I just can't stop missing the iron lol...

No, thats not what i meant. I read somewhere that it us recommended to take a week off after like 8 weeks of pumping iron

there's no specific time frame, usually by 'feel'.
if u feel your body needs longer time to rest, listen to it.
sometimes i take longer time off to heal my injured wrist/shoulders.
