heyo guys, (specifically to mikehuan and pizzaboy), as I was searching for fish oil high up and down, saw some comments of you guys regarding fish oil and the capsule inconvenience, I managed to find and purchase fish oil in liquid form:
http://www.melrosehealth.com.au/health_pro...Oil-Liquid.aspxI found them being sold at Country Farm's Organics:
http://www.countryfarmorganics.com/cfo/pro...cat1=20&cat2=69I bought mine at Bangsar Village branch. (Selling for rm35 now, normal price was rm40... but I've also manage to find them in the refrigerator of Vita Care pharmacy at Gardens (not sure if other branches have them ) at rm35.60, though limited bottles compared to the store at bangsar village, that has plenty stocks)
This product is being sold at the chiller side, always refrigerated. If you saw those sitting at unchilled shelves (like inside bangsar village grocer), would recommend you not to get them.
They also sell cod liver oil, but I couldn't recall the price, nevertheless it is also kept chilled.
Each mL contains:
- Eicosapentaenoic acid EPA noic acid EPA = 163mg
- Docosahexaenoic acid DHA noic acid DHA = 108mg
- Vitamin E= 44mg
So to say, 2 tea spoons (10ml) will give u 1630mg EPA & 1080mg DHA... [I'm currently taking this amount daily]
This product comes with a tinge of lemon scent, oil doesnt taste bad at all, no fishy smell just slight lemony flavour. Of course if u leave it exposed to air long enough it will eventually smell rancid and the oil will start to get cloudy.
The only thing is that I only see them selling the 250ml bottle. The price for this per EPA/DHA is slightly cheaper than seven seas, and most important of all, its fresh!
Just wana share my findings on this fish oil, because I know its hard to find liquids being sold locally! Cheers!
PS: why is this posted here? because i found the comments on previous bodybuilding threads. cheers!
