If ccc is signed by architect or SO mean the developer has fulfilled his contractual obligation. Any issue will fall under defect liability.

Most if not all projects are developed by a subsidiary of developers. Nothing will happen to the developer holding company.

If the developer i.e subsidiary company is bankrupted before strata title is issued, owners/buyers will be hang. Hence, it is owners/buyers interest to keep the developer alive.

I think this same developer is doing d Sheraton PJ near my house. Hope they won't abandon it. Would b such a daily eyesore for me...

Their empire Damansara really disappointing with poor build quality. The swimming pool for studio units still in progress after so many years and yet not open to the tenants .

It is not only the name that buyers concern. It is actually whether their property under cover by HDA or not. There are some SOHO under HDA.

if the property is under HDA , you can check it in government website.

if not , just take your own risk in this investment.

i think this whole Empire city project is not under HDA.

SOHO can be under HDA, but not all.

How come there's double volume for the unit ??

yes, not only that. I've been on the receiving end of "late payment fees" on items that I HAD ALREADY PAID IN FULL 6 MONTHS AGO. Although emails keep saying that they're going to check on it, etc...after I provided all proof of payment. In the end, I dropped by their office and take all the documents myself - something that was stamped & dated November 2015!!

On a separate note, is anyone proceeding with legal action against Empire?

Get a certain Mr Rao to arrange a press conference!!
