Developers are being rewarded for sub par delivery. So they just keep doing what they have been doing just because some buyers think they're making money. This mentality among Malaysians has got to stop. Poor products deserve punishment. This is the reason developers are selling cheap mickey mouse units at high prices while telling you 'land is no more' (which is bs considering their buyers are mainly investors who have no need nor intention of living there). You must remember KL is no London or New York where global buyers constantly trade.
