read through the last 5 pages and I never expected so many bad comments on the developer. Aside from the guy who claims to be a part of the developer team...I think MEH's past results speaks for itself right?

The only thing that worries me is the size of the ED development. Its about 20+ acres...compared to ES which is about 3 acres? Its quite a big difference and I wonder if they are able to pull it off...

As for traffic...it shouldn't be much of a problem. Just look at how Mid Valley is coping with the parking...bad but its not the end of the world right? And people are still going there by car. Plus not that many people will be heading to ED, as there is a much cheaper shopping area just opposite the highway - The Curve. I expect most of the tenants around the ED shopping malls to be somewhat more of branded outlets.

Considering the jam around Subang and especially near Summit...this area shouldn't be that bad. Maybe only after working hours.

I highly doubt it. Just look at the project...half the windows haven't been fitted yet, roads don't have Tarmac on them, parking is merely skeletons at this point, and not to mention there are lots of cranes working on other buildings nearby and those don't even have walls up!

I got the same thing, as did others. Just write a letter to Ambank to inform them of the project status and they'll void everything. I already did mine.

They sent the letter is because our S&P has reached its 'maturity' stage. Normal standard operating procedure. But because we bought this under DIBS scheme, the bank will hold off the installment and will continue to claim the interest from the developer.

has anyone received letter for Delivery of VP?
I'm shocked by the bill we have to pay the developer...in total its 31.5k misc charges =.=

okay, I should clarify that 19k is "Upon handover of VP posession"...then the remaining is misc charges. There are sinking fund, water deposit, electric deposit, quit rent, fire insurance, service charges, and the best part....interest charges from 2011. I don't understand why I'm being charged interest charges since this is a DIBS scheme!

Btw, they were supposed to VP last year...

no, of course loan. That letter looked like something they would be sending to the bank but its addressed to me. I gotta check with them on this.

Why is Empire charging me because they paid late? What's LAD payment?

The funny thing is...this letter only asks for money but doesn't say anything on where I'm to collect this VP. Just gonna assume its MEH Subang.

just to check...how am I supposed to 'collect' when the condition of the project is like this?

I honestly think they're pulling wool over my eyes coz I don't see anyone being able to move in until the middle of next year or whenever those cranes decide that they're done with the job.

DIBS amount...you mean interest charges? They're charging me about 2k plus for just 85 days late interest. The rest are weird charges that didn't make sense - service charges, service charge deposit, quit rent & sinking fund (during construction), and GST on all of the above...

has anyone taken up action against Empire on this issue? The project might be well abandoned (again) after we all get our VP. I don't think the S&P says anything about our unit being in "moving-in" condition at all.

paid my "VP" invoice two weeks ago...now I get email I got outstanding amount charged one day AFTER my full payment. WTF is Empire doing???
