Unwatchable, the error message came out saying "Service is temporarily not available", after 2-3 times it just totally freeze. I will try again tonight to disable the Auto Negotiation and force Full Duplex, not sure it will help. But anyway, last night I couldn't get live TV through both DIR-615 and RB250GS, so there was already line problem. But DIR-615 can play VOD ok but not RB250GS. So, I am not sure if it is a line problem or hardware problem, or just a configuration problem. However, RB250GS only has 96KB RAM, is it too small and caused the buffering problem?

Sounds more like line problem. I already 3 days not using the IPTV. Will switch on tonight and see how is the movie stream.

The only problem I had recently with IPTV was with the new channels (Universal & SyFy). After watching either channel for a few minutes, it would suddenly hang for a while, then go blank and display that small satellite icon (indicating signal loss?). Funny thing is, I can view them just fine via channel 100. It'll be back to normal after a while, then the same problem would happen again. Haven't had the time to complain to UniFi CS yet. Anyone else experience this issue?

It happened randomly to any channel for me. IPTV is really not stable, a lot of time I can't watch LiveTV but can watch VOD.

My IPTV stopped working after I have not access it for sometime. Previously, if I do a cold start (unplug) power cable) it will reconnect to the DHCP server back, but now there is a blank screen with a satellite image at the top left corner and says server connection error. I have noted that Riz has mentioned before that TM servers will refuse "unconventional" IPTV connection method, am I one of the "blacklisted" case? I am currently using reconfigured TM DIR 615 in bridge mode (as per Riz instruction) and connected to my old trusty retail DIR 615 which is very stable. Appreciate a response from anyone has the same problem as mine. (My Internet connection and VOIP is working very well. I have tried calling TM, either they ask you to do cold start or restart, never seems to work).

On good days, my wife can be streaming her video thru the DIR 615 wifi while I am downloading torrents and my mum is watching IPTV, all without any hitch or glitch. But sometimes, the IPTV can be jerky even when no one is using the internet for anything

If you use the TM-615 router, you probably have to restart your router few times as it tends to freeze after a while.

It's a new 'product' so there's bound to be problems here and there. Most of the time it'll be stable, but right now you get to experience the problems now and then. It'll get better with age.. until it becomes streamyx II, but before that happens, they will enforce that capping thing they wanted to do.

How you guys break the 615? lol. doh.gif

Since Sept 1 I am running in bridge mode with over 8 hours online almost everyday torrented 50GBs, watched IPTV, trading online, youtubing , even with all that my 615 still running perfectly.

Probably it is the placement of the router? So far after 4 days of using it, I got no problems with all my service though.

I quite agree with billytong too. Since 3 Sept till now, my 615 with VLAN bridge WR941ND working flawlessly though I don't torrent as much as him lol. More importantly, to provide all your BTU/routers in a well ventilated space.

Yes, putting your equipment under a well ventilated area is also very important for the reliability.
