My DIR615 seems to be on the blink again. Wifi signal keeps dropping. Had to "reset" (off and on) twice so far since last night

Sounds like DIR615 wireless issue. Login to the router and reset all settings to defaults and set up wireless again. If still the same, consider using DD-WRT.

I believe so. My Wifi connectivity thru the DIR 615 also drops intermittently but recovers itself after a short time.

This morning, my Unifail seems to have no service again. No internet, no IPTV, no VOIP

Anyone here knows of any symptom before the DIR-615 go kaput??
*
When my first unit died, the LAN port lights/indicators did not light up even though RJ45 was connected

On good days, my wife can be streaming her video thru the DIR 615 wifi while I am downloading torrents and my mum is watching IPTV, all without any hitch or glitch. But sometimes, the IPTV can be jerky even when no one is using the internet for anything

Is it free exchange to new unit under their scheme? rclxms.gif
*
The DIR 615 comes with 1 year's warranty so, free exchange during warranty period. With such high failure rate, I believe it is highly likely that TM could eventually use refurbished sets for warranty replacements sweat.gif

Eventually? I replaced my DIR-615 around May and they gave me a refurbished set (with previous Unifi user's pppoe login/pass intact) tongue.gif

This means my pppoe info is likely out there somewhere lor doh.gif

what i'm really confuse now.
i'm taking a vip 20 unifi.
the hyppTV's VOD.
now already a new month, got another 100points.

so are the points system pricing already starts ?
or it is still free 100 points for me to use ya ?
*
Every month, home unifi subscribers get 100 points. Any balance at the end of the month does not get carried forward. If you use more than 100 points and need more, you can buy more points. Not sure how you actually buy more points because we have never used beyond the 100 monthly points ATM

Hi guys, got an issue with my unifi....for past 3 days have not been having a stable connection I.e morning n afternoon I have Internet connection, but come night...no connection....phone works fine btw.

2 nights ago, noticed a burning smell....thought was from outside...didn't take notice of it...until yday when I had totally no connection....but again phone works fine....have made a report...still waiting...a friend of mine mentioned that I have burned my fibre optic cable...am wondering if this is possible? Or have any of u guys encountered this issue?
*
Your situation is very strange indeed. I've encountered outages in the mornings but things are fine again when I get home but in my case, everything (internet, IPTV and phone) was KO'ed during the outage. In your case, internet off but phone still ok. Best is to call their CS and get a field tech to come over to check it out

Its good to know that us ZTE BTU users have now got an alternative of directly connecting to it but alas, do be mindful that TM may just void the lifetime warranty of the BTU for doing so if anything goes wrong.

TTDI....Techs coming over this evening. They suspect the BTU is kaput as only the power and LAN1 lights are on. Reboot also no help. doh.gif
