Something weird happened today......

When i reached home, my mother told me that IPTV was down since today morning.
The weird thing is when i was at work this morning, i suddenly managed to access my pc at home repeatedly using my phone from outside until evening.
This shouldn't happened as we know that DIR-615 failed to port forward.

However, while on my way home, i tried accessing again, it failed to connect already.
When i reach home, i noted that all IPTV and internet was down hence i thought the reason i can't connect is because of internet down.

I off and restart the BTU and DIR-615 ( this is the 1st time i reboot in 3 weeks after i gott Unifi service for the purpose of internet and IPTV were down) ; things back to normal now but not my remote access.

Still can't figure out how did this happen!!!

Can someone help me to explain why suddenly i can access my network connected PC remotely??? Is there any correlation with IPTV down??

For a short while i was so excited but now seems things are back to square one.

Can't wait to enable my port forwarding and regain freedom again.

Got the RB250GS yesterday. Thanks to klseet for arranging the purchase. It was great effort of him.

I Was having problems with my new Asus RT-N16 wireless router last night until 2am. The wireless signal kept on dropping and reconnect intermittently.
Went to digital mall today and they exchanged a new one for me.
Now everything is up and running smoothly without problem. my wireless connection and internet connection are consistent without problem.

Tested with simultaneous online TV and radio streaming on 2 notebooks, BT downloading at PC, TM IPTV live stream, HD movies on asus oplay multimedia player and TV streaming on my smartphone using Wifi connetion.

Everything works well except the asus multimedia player occasionally lag probably because i am using Aztech 200Mbps Homeplug ethernet adaptor that has red signal.

I was just wondering if i change the powerline plug to gigabit speed adaptor, would it make any difference in terms of connection speed between my PC and router when currently the signal already in Red.

Really great experience. Now my DIR-615 can be kept as back up.

Just a reminder to those already acquired RB250GS. Becareful when unplug the power adaptor. I broke the cover when unplugging yesterday. What i did was i pulled the top portion of the adaptor when unplugging and the cover separated. fortunately it is still usable after using wiring plastic tape to adhere it. Otherwise i may need to look for new power adaptor!!!
