finally got the recovery mode works.
sigh.... I think it's not easy for newbie. for people with Dos and terminal experience would be ok. but for general public i think we might need a much more detailed tutorials in the first page. I've got adb work by going to http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html to download the SDK. if you are on windows. download the windows package. extract it to somewhere. say for example in c:/ then you've have a new directory called c:/android-sdk-windows/ now get your SGS in to settings > applications> development>usb debugging (check this on) now plug your SGS to PC. run (win + R) and then type "cmd" in the command field. this bring up dos. use this command 'cd c:/android-sdk-windows/tools/adb reboot recovery' This is the same thing written in first page but I think most of the less techical savvy ppl might not be able to make this work. in Linux and OSX. I think it's almost the same. just download the zip and extract it. the difference is that the path might be not the same. I'll go through one time on my own later when I'm at home. i'll post an updated walkthrough later on. cheers. |

QUOTE(mahad13 @ Sep 15 2010, 07:03 AM) Right... even my house and office have wifi, but I still think Data plan is a must especially when you go out shopping or raya. You must go out to other places instead office and home only rite.. Sharing or not is really up to you right? Besides the OLED display will show what type of connection you are on at that instant.Added on September 15, 2010, 7:19 am nice solution. But it will a bit crampy when you are in GPRS network and sharing with multiple user. 3G and EDGE should be ok I think. |

That ZenusCase looks pretty damn cool but the price is pretty damn high as well... Going for $40 and that's without the shipping fees
Part of the chrome is left unprotected... for that price. This post has been edited by JustForFun: Sep 15 2010, 06:49 PM |

Someone DID reply a few posts after yours - http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=36319359 .My answer to you is that the Samsung Galaxy S is a great phone. Can't comment on the Wave as I don't own it. |
