What I mean is that recommended retail prices in the US at least match SB for the most part. The retail prices here right now are ridiculous, that's all.

Same applies.
With such performance, I doubt sellers want to hold stocks.
It could hardly sell if it's MYR900++.
The longer they keep the stock, the more they lose.
The price will be slashed to dump stock or make it "sell-able" again (i.e. MYR7xx).

Not reseller/retailer set the price. You need go all the way back to AMD & distributor

After going through the reviews, I also scare keep AMD stock

and they are trying to stick large cache that take up a lot of die estate to make up the performance ground. Another dumb move. Since BD real strenght is about multithread. its probably a lot better to have 10-12 cores than having 16MB cache too. but now bulldozer are good in neither single or multithread.

Like I said they could have done better by tweaking the Phenom II freqency/IPC and into 8 core than release this sh*t lol. A disappointed product, and a huge one. Dirk Meyer do deserve a fire. I can see it now.

Yes, I think you sellers should gather together and talk to AMD to lower down the price.
Otherwise you sellers will have problem to clear the stock.

They will eventually lower the price after slow sale & this unconvincing reviews.....

It was initially running @ 2.5GHz (3.5GHz turbo mode).
The performance could be so bad until it did not make a single sense to market it at all.

They almost always overstate performance figures, both AMD and Intel. IB will definitely be better than SB but it should be no more than 10% at most. The main focus of IB is lowering power consumption to compete with mobile sector and more improvement is being made to IB's IGP. Absolute performance have to wait till Haswell comes out.
