not just higher freq, higher TDP too lolz, 95W VS 125W, 2600K basically fighting handicapped. I don't have high hope on Bulldozer if Intel decide to slash price during they launch, Intel gonna hit Bulldozer real hard, but I liked Bobcat

steve jobs did it
he is plying terran single base vs microsoft seven base during the past
but now?
look how apple turn tide of battle against microsoft during 2000s
all amd need is a smart CEO
*
The former AMD CEO(Dirk Meyer) was a smart one, but he left AMD cry.gif but at least with a life line which is graphic department and Bobcat cores.

most emulator for pc required high clock processor.thats for my experience
*
no...it require high performance cores, emulation is single and very complex(Fermi can't handle this lolz) threaded

Don't be so happy yet, if Intel decided to Slash price on their K-series CPUs on BD Launch, BD gonna get butt kicked REAL HARD, beside INtel CPUs is better when running console emulators like PCSX2(PCSX2 is very hurt CPU, especially if you emulate MGS2, Core I5 2500K at turbo speed still lag lolz)

hi bro

i try to run crash nitro kart on PS2 emulator was my fav game.. because now don have console.. do u know optimal settings? pls pm me if u r interested in sharing.

anyway many times before i don care about prices i ask my friends what is best cpu when want to buy a new pc.. but now i don care intel. always go for amd

the intel is almost always faster.. but how much extra need to pay for it? after a few times amd pay good price for cpu, then can save for gfx and others, now have brand loyalty amd dont care about intel anymore, because THIEF
*
ehhh I don't have Crash Nitro kart but the default setting will mostly do fine and I running Full clamping, extra...err forgot the name on VUs for maximum compatibility, software rendering(hurt CPU more lolz) can help on display accurate graphic as well but they don't as nice as hardware of coz as for plugins GSDX, lilypad, SPU2-X are best for me

Nice try AMD, but I7 2660K still win, even I7 2600 still win lolz

i'll leave this here.
this is seriously how i feel about AMD now.....

well, @ least the part about "bulldozer + fermi = electric bill would kill me" made my day....
*
at least Fermi is superior than its competitor Radeon 6000 series, but Bulldozer fail to beat Sandy Bridge and bound to get killed by Ivy Bridge lolz

They(AMD) never even look into software developers side of story, no many of them(Software devs) will actually bothered scratch their head to rewrite the softwares to from few thread (1-4) to many threads lolz, same goes to their graphic department doh.gif

CPU ain't equal to GPU, CPU need to perform complex stuffs like simulation, emulation and Artificial Intelligence, GPUs just can't do that cuz they may be fast but they're stupid due to their lack of functions(opcodes in tech terms), dumb AMD tongue.gif

Multitask I guess, but 4 cores easily can handle most everyday multitask user, I tried like Hexalog(6-log) a MMORPG, Firefox, notepad and picture viewer with my 2500K and it work just fine

Until software and games actually can manage to use such many thread without hassle or AMD slash great amount of the price, it(AMD FX) will like this(pics below) for now.

guys is it true amd fx 6100 is not a true 6 core compare to amd phenom II x6...and amd fx 4100 also not true quad core...?
*
Yes, Half cores
QUOTE(zenix @ Oct 25 2011, 02:31 PM)
why amd fail me sad.gif
*
Cuz they don't do enough market survey and expect the Software Devs to program their software to run multithreaded(why bother change the code to multithreaded? when the CPU single Threaded performance is strong enough anyway? lolz), what a fool doh.gif

so its better to choose phenom II X6 1090 than a amd fx 6100?is it SSE 4.1,SSE 4.2 in amd fx more benefit other phenom II?i'm in dilemma to choose...coz i have bought asus m5a97...so sad that amd fx not perform well
*
Yes stick with phenom 2 for now, I suggest Phenom 2 X4 Black Edition 975 from lingloong(LYN garage sales), this is the second best AMD CPU for gaming, the Best is Phenom X4 Black Edition 980.
