i have checked on sager computer, it doesnt really match what i wanted compared to asus.

Is it any difrence between G73 and G53 (the incoming new model)?

17" vs 15.6" main diff. Also G73Jh = HD5870 while G73Jw = GTX460m (or either way around)
G53Jw comes only with GTX460m. (but G53Jw should be out only on 22 oct)


sager is cheaper than asus.

G73JH is the only G73/53 lines which doesn't come USB 3.0.

Interesting HD6 series are offering AMD HD3D. There's a probability of Asus refresh G73 since they can just change the GPU within G73jw than changing entire laptop parts.

well, i thought the selling pt of jw is Nvidia 3D???

Yes, what i mean if Asus decide to refresh G73 just like how they did it to G51.
Still Mobile HD6 series might take some time before people would realize AMD is doing 3D into gaming industry.

hm, was speaking to a guy in singapore. He told me after the initial import of G53Jw into singapore... the next batch will only be the 3D version... no more normal de... How about america?

The same goes for it. They might allow cuztomization if the individual wants the 3d vision kit or not. U could get it bundle and resell it to other people.

ugh, now i'm not sure I want to wait till jan to get a laptop... can't afford 3D version (guy told me its retail is around 3300 SGD)

Nah, N82J don't have numpad, 14'' is a bit small for numpad....
