Just wondering, if you ask GenTech or xoticpc to do IC thermal pasting, is it worth it? Anyone of you ask GenTech or xoticpc to do IC thermal paste on your G73?

USD 1499 for G53JW, looks promising!
Now to see someone benchmark it and if there's any problem with this |

QUOTE(finecut @ Sep 24 2010, 05:47 PM) the problem is my sis who's in dubai is paying with her cc but the delivery address would be in brunei, and gentech website stated that only US and canada credit card are accepted. and brunei's is not in their shipping destination The only way to pay is through TT, means that you transfer money into their bank account using your bank as "middle man"*i've send an email to ken lee regarding this, hopefully can get things cleared up |

QUOTE(finecut @ Sep 25 2010, 11:22 AM) manage to clear the payment things up with Ken. so now's questions about courier. I think its better to use comgateway since they uses DHL to send it straight to your house and cost around USD 100...using usps is more straight forward but cheaper/safer? alternative would be using comgateway. but how to alias and pay comgateway and transiting the laptop to my doorstep? Pay wise, use cc Added on September 26, 2010, 6:58 am QUOTE(Collienz @ Sep 25 2010, 11:24 PM) i am interested in buying a G73JH-B1.. has done alot of research and thx to everyone's contribution on this forum topic.. i have now confirm wat to get for the laptop... just a few question i would like to ask.. is buying from xoticpc a good choice?.. plus delivery and customization..(ram hertz and No Dead Pixel warranty[dont really know how it works... sigh]..) minus the blue ray drive)... the total cost incremented to to the total of USD2,126.00 izzit worth it? Xotic is another great reseller besides GenTech. If you have that much money, then go for it since its a good specs! This post has been edited by ineser: Sep 26 2010, 06:58 AM |

QUOTE(vanishing1983 @ Sep 28 2010, 12:37 PM) Hi people, You wont know if they actually do the pasting, its hard to check, so a risk thereWould like to seek your advice on Asus G73 JH. I'll be purchasing my ASUS G73JH-RBBX05 from HIDevolution very soon. Link shown as below:- http://www.hidevolution.com/featured-produ...b-17-3-dvd.html Would like your advice on the Thermal Paste services provided by them. I'm thinking of adding IC-Diamond Thermal paste on the CPU & GPU that would cost me 35 USD each Thermal paste applied by them (HIDevolution). A total cost of extra 70 USD. That would be "70.00 USD = 216.510 MYR" Kindly advice me if I should Pay an additional RM216 for the Thermal paste to reduce heat and extend the life of the Asus G73 JH is it worth it or not? Looking forward to hear from everyone Input before I purchase it soon Cheers. |
