* Please PM me your username (For instance, Jeffrey1987), notebook version (For instance, Asus G73Jh-A2) and place of purchase (For instance, GenTechPC) if you are a new member at this thread. Thanks!
1. Where to buy these Asus G-Series gaming notebooks? For instance: Asus G73. A = You have two alternatives to get yourself a R.O.G gaming notebook. First, you can buy it via local resellers around Malaysia. Click here for more information. Second, you can buy it via other countries resellers. For example, GenTechPC from US. Please refer to *** Where to Buy? *** section.
2. Any difference in price if I buy from Malaysia resellers or US resellers? A = Yeah. For instance, the price difference of Asus G73Jh in Malaysia and US is astonishing. Malaysia one may cost you around RM10000.00 and the US one may cost you around RM6000.00 in relative (dependent on the currency exchange).
3. How much is the shipping/ delivery fee if I import the notebook from US? A= The shipping/ delivery fee will vary from different freight forwarders and resellers. For instance, the USPS (freight forwarder) of GenTechPC (reseller) will cost you 149 USD.
4. How to do the wire transfer? Is it safe? A = You can do it at any local bank but the most ideal one is Maybank as the transfer fee is the lowest of all, that is, around RM25. Nevertheless, you guys must bear in mind that the US bank will charge you some money for the transaction as well. For instance, 30 USD for the assigned bank of GenTechPC. As for the safety level, it is safe as long as you buy from a reputable reseller and follow the TT procedures.
5. May I use PayPal, PayPal eCheck or credits card to make the payment? A = Usually, the resellers from US only accept wire transfer for international transaction. However, there are some members who manage to do their payment besides of TT. Thus, my advice is to ask the resellers first before making your payment.
6. How about the warranty of Asus notebook? A = All Asus notebooks come with 2 years global warranty which means that you can claim the warranty wherever you are as long as that particular city has Asus service center. As for the 1 year accidental warranty, it only applies to North America.
* If anyone has questions regarding on these notebooks, feel free to ask around this thread and I will write down them all at this section. Thanks!
Have a question here, after shipping is done, have to pay RM18 for custom?
I shipped mine from US to Germany. Thus, I'm not really sure about this. The RM18 customs form is required when your notebook is detained at your local customs office and you need to travel down there to claim it yourself and at the same time paying the RM18. That's what I know from other forumers.

Still have to wait till 1st week of September. Argh! lol.
Means they actually post directly to your house first?
They will post directly to your house if and only if your local customs does not "tahan" your notebook. In that case, you can avoid from paying the RM18 too. Hence, pray hard for that to happen.
Most probably they do not dare to touch it as usually the customs officers will open the box in front of you if they want to check the contents of the package. 不麻烦!
In Malaysia, the Asus G73Jh-A1 itself is really expensive. It costs RM9999.00 whereby we can get it around RM6000.00 by importing the notebook from US.

Good job. V2.
U went to gamescon right. How was it? Always want to go but dont have the money.
Yeap . . . I went to there 2 days ago . . . darn fatigue . . . Nevertheless, I managed to get myself 2 F.O.C gaming mouse pad . . . Roccat Sota and Slick Ride SE by Gamerswear . . .
At that event, I mostly visited the hardware booths. For instance, Roccat, Razer and etc . . . I have post some pictures of new mouse released by Roccat too . . . Click the link below:
hows the keyboard protector? feels good when typing?
For TPU keyboard protector, it will certainly add some stiffness when you are typing on it . . . but I still prefer to have it on my keyboard as I dislike the dust which will "contaminate" my keyboard virginity . . .
i mean ordering the notebook before ETA... worry that the ETA is extended and stuff =.=
You can e-mail Ken about this and ask him when is the ETA . . . if he can give a definite ETA, then I bet you can pre-order it by now . . . anyway, it's still up to you.
