Just like Ken Lee has said, declare the item under RMA. You are under the right track now.  thumbup.gif

my idle temp after laptop startup is about 60 C.. after some hours of gaming, my temps are low to mid 90s.. it depends very much on ambient temps.. If aircon room, max gaming temp about 90. If in a stuffy room with ceiling fan, can go up to 96 or so.

Asus G53 is a newer 15" R.O.G gaming notebook. Besides that, the price of importing a whole new G53 is cheaper than G51 which is bought locally. thumbup.gif

G-series Asus in Malaysia is way overpriced compared to importing it + delivery fee, you could save more than RM1K...

Yeap. It is better for you to save the RM1K to buy some accessories for your notebook although G53 includes a gaming mouse and backpack. brows.gif

You can refer to GenTechPC as they offer great customer service. Most of this thread's members bought their Asus G73 notebooks from GenTechPC too. Try click on this.

As for the duration of shipment, it will take around 10 days after you have transferred the money. If you are really interested, you can ask the members at this thread including me about the procedures of purchase. icon_rolleyes.gif

Asus notebooks are equipped with 2 years global warranty. As for warranty service, so far so good from some of the thread members response. But you must bear in mind that Asus doesn't offer In-Home Service. You have to send it in when it comes to RMA. smile.gif

Yeap. For the time being, Asus G53 only equips with NVidia. Asus G73Jh is equipped with DDR5 ATi 5870 (1 GB VRAM).

Actually, I'm kinda forgot already. I used USPS as my freight forwarder last time. It cost me around 149 USD if I'm not mistaken. Some of the thread members here who hired comGateway as their freight forwarder which is cheaper.

You can ask Ken Lee from GenTechPC about the doubts you have. He is one of my friend. Just try to mention my name: Jeffrey or Mark and he will try his best to assist you.

E-mail: ken@gentechpc.com

G51Jx is actually a downgrade from its older model, G51J....
and G53Jw starts USD 1499 = RM 4 636~ excluding shippings of course..
