Mine not gpu failure more like thermal paste caked to extreme and gpu overheats coz asus designed my a8jr to have the copper pipes for cpu and gpu are shared. so both are spreading heat to each other which result in force shut down sometimes.

The reason that Gentech owns is because they can do the repasting for me,3 years international warranty and i get 133 MHz more. I dont get EAX4.0 and hybrid HDD,though. The bad thing if i get form Gentech is, i might get fined and lost RM1k to the damn customs.

I just called them, and they suggest me that i place my order to pay and pickup at shop. Then, come to the shop and have a look at the unit tomorrow, only decide whether i want it or not.
