QUOTE(travelyew @ Oct 6 2010, 11:30 PM) Quite a good idea, pay b4 autopay, but OCBC need 5 working days for online payment, probably u will be lated for it. Mm, 5 days for online payment? It seems a bit long.Just called CS, the CS for cc only till 10pm, need to call 2moro. Anyway, you may need to pay 5 days in advance:) But since you are subscribing autopay for TM, I'm not sure whether the autobilling discount is still valid or not. Anyway, you'll get 8% rebate. Otherwise, you might get 8%+RM2/ RM4 :-) Just don't pay for the wrong bill. Just kidding. -------- After I check the online payment, you may need the bill number in order to make a transaction This post has been edited by ck3lam: Oct 7 2010, 12:11 AM |

QUOTE(Shinichi @ Oct 6 2010, 11:43 PM) Its ok, I just trying to see how it works first. Then only pay it when I get my statement. You put your OCBC CC number as the account number. So I'll use IBG transfer to OCBC and my card number right? If there's a selection for Transaction Type, choose Credit Card. |

May I ask for CC recommendation here?
Previously only using Debit Card, cause lazy to handle all the bills. Friend keep urging me use CC because of those promo dining, shopping, rebate etc. Any recommendation? No necessary high credit limit. And prefer easy online banking/transfer. |

QUOTE(Kelv @ Oct 7 2010, 12:11 AM) May I ask for CC recommendation here? You need to ask yourself what you will use most for the cc. Different lifestyle has different needs, same as cc.Previously only using Debit Card, cause lazy to handle all the bills. Friend keep urging me use CC because of those promo dining, shopping, rebate etc. Any recommendation? No necessary high credit limit. And prefer easy online banking/transfer. Based on your description, currently OCBC Titanium offer you a lot of rebate especially on online bill payment, dining, groceries, and petrol. Find more on the OCBC website or posts in this thread. But because of people say so, you don't just go and apply it. You must evaluate it for yourself. Remember, CC may get you into debt if you abuse it. |

hmm.. i only manage to get the AMEX Plat CC waiver as i spend quite alot with it these two years , thought of getting MBB WMC but of course if getting a waiver is preferable , i choose to wait because i believe they will waive it sooner or later ( just like the AMEX plat CC , they refuse to waive it when the card newly launched , but for 2nd year , i have it waived )

Wow, OCBC internet banking can pay bills by using credit card and also get 3% rebate.
It was not there few days ago when I activated my online banking. Added on October 7, 2010, 7:27 amWhy TMB is not listed in payment page when it has been added as registered payee? I only can see TNB. This post has been edited by jack2: Oct 7 2010, 07:27 AM |

Just check with OCBC CS, if TM is not listed in payment page by using credit card, that payee does not accept payment by cc.That's great! TM,CELCOM,TNB are there! So TMB is not. |

If that is the fact, we still got next best solution to earn rebates, ie. via TMONLINE. MilesAndMore pays TM bills through TMOnline so he might advise us then. By using TM Online and not OCBC Online Banking, we miss only the 3% bonus. 5% permanent rebate is still there. |
