So fast come to v11. rclxms.gif
Back to OCBC Titanium, in my opinion, the most special about this card is credit card interest rebate, seems like no other cards offer such thing in Malaysia.
*
Better than Citibanks' Cash Back Platinum I guess...

I also not sure how it really works, in my understanding, whatever interest paid to the card (finance charge) will be entitle 50% rebate (Jan 2011 to July 2011) and 33% rebate (August 2011 onwards).
Rebate on finance charges is not an attraction to apply for the card.... you will get yourself in deep debt later on.

IF we apply the OCBC Titanium now, it will charge you the RM50 for 2010, right ?
We get GST waiver only for 2011 onwards if you spend RM10k per year.

Best to tick on "As an OCBC Bank customer, I/we do not allow our name/s and contact details to be disclosed within the OCBC Group to cross sell OCBC Group products/services and third party products/services not distributed by OCBC Bank."

For OCBC Titanium,

Does Auto-debit for Maxis/Astro entitled to 5% rebate ?
How about shoppoing for Grocery at Jusco's Supermarket ?
Do they give out bonus points for accumulation ?

Clearly it is.
Yes. 5% cash back for any petrol station company. The maximum rebate for petrol is capped at RM30 though. What's more, just charge RM10,000 to your card in a year and they will credit an extra RM50 into your account to help you to pay for the credit card service tax  thumbup.gif

Where in the T&C says OCBC Titanium's Petrol rebate is capped at RM30 per month ?

I know monthly is good, but there are some insurance policies which will incur interest charges if the policyholder wishes to pay premium monthly.
With CIMB's interest free 10 months instalment plan, the yearly premium is split to 10 fractions.
Ain't it the same whether you are paying interests to the Insurance co. or Processing fee to DirectAccess ?
Depends which is lesser....

For those who applied OCBC Titanium online, may I know which number did the agent ask you to fax your documents?
*
You should fax all documents to 20727411.
To check OCBC Titanium application status, you can call 1-300-88-5000.

Standard Chartered is offering RM188(Platinum)/RM88(Gold) cash back now... If you miss the previous offer, now's the 2nd chance (and better) to get FREE cash.

Wow, I think that's the highest cashback so far.  Last year I got the Business Platinum for RM100 cashback only (cancelled after that).  I guess the RM188 is only for new customers?
*
Yep.. new applicant6s only... i guess SCB needs to capture more market share but cancellation of card can be done after 6 months ;-)
