QUOTE(ronnie @ Aug 25 2010, 09:29 AM) You should fax all documents to 20727411. OCBC is really efficient. My application was e-mailed to the agent on Monday noon and the application is already in processing status while checking through 1300885000.To check OCBC Titanium application status, you can call 1-300-88-5000 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 1-300-88-5000 end_of_the_skype_highlighting. Added on August 26, 2010, 5:13 am QUOTE(zenquix @ Aug 26 2010, 04:13 AM) I don't think it is a problem as the agent I dealt with also had the same fax number. Although eventually i emailed my application to the agent instead of faxing (and it was to a gmail account). My guess is this is actually an outsource arrangement by OCBC. Info goes to agents who would get contact the customers and get apps + supporting documents to be forwarded to OCBC processing. The agent who served me is from OCBC in which his e-mail account is ocbc.comThis post has been edited by jack2: Aug 26 2010, 05:13 AM |

QUOTE(zenquix @ Aug 26 2010, 05:28 AM) Interesting. Although i submitted my application thru the website www.ocbccards.com.my, the agent that eventually contacted me for documents seemed like a 3rd party. What was the steps you took to eventually have the OCBC agent contact you? OCBC application can be submitted through website? I thought website one, you just fill up and print it out?At least mine seems legit as I have already gotten the card and using it. I filled and submitted the contact us in OCBC website and then someone contacted me lo.. Great, you are very fast and I think the first person here to have it and started use it... |

wonder if for OCBC GST tax waiver by spending 10k a year, the waiver is deducted from 10k points or once 10k spent in a year, GST is waived and we still earn the rewards point?

Wonder if anyone checks with OCBC self service that my Titanium application was unsuccessfully but following the announcement, there was second announcement for the same application with pending status.
Checked with OS and they said if there is any change of the application, they will make update and canceled the application and resubmit again. That is why I heard two results. Therefore, it is still under process... |

QUOTE(winner @ Sep 3 2010, 01:16 AM) I sent my application on 20/8 and it has just been approved on 1/9 when I checked the status via OCBC self service hotline. Great. Soon will be my turn... If your documents are complete and you are qualified for the card, the bank will not call you for verification. For instance, OCBC did not call me and my application is successful. I also won the ipod shuffle. It's better than none. |

QUOTE(chemistry @ Sep 4 2010, 09:26 AM) I did some survey & comparison among BSAs in local major banks. It comes out that CIMB's BSA2 suits me most due to its vast presence and its obviously higher deposit interest. Most banks offer interest of 0.25% for the first 10k or around this figure, but CIMB gives 0.85%. AmBank Amstar offers 1.5% interest and free 5 IBG transfer without fee per month!Since I am existing client of CIMB, it's easy for me to do intrabank fund transfer FOC. Whenever I want to do IBG trxn, I just need to shift fund from Account X to this BSA. |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Sep 5 2010, 08:40 AM) Public Bank has always been far ahead of Hong Leong Bank The current model of HL Bank is targeting those old uncle and aunties that do not know how to use self service machine. That is why until today, the bank is the last one who is upgrading slowly.LOL ! I suppose the current model is still working fine for them. That is why they still don't bother to change unless it is necessary. Anyway, i prefer a bank with lots of self banking machines. This is why CIMB Bank is now my main bank for day to day transaction whereas Public Bank is the bank i put all my fixed deposits. Basically it means CIMB Bank gets the low yield business while Public Bank gets the high yield one Anyway, has anyone received his OCBC Titanium MasterCard already ? As I can see, their customers are chinese businessman that have "relationship" with bank manager. When the customers reached the bank, ahead to counter and the staff or manager will greet them and the chinese customers asked them to help them fill out the slip for cash deposit, cash withdrawal or cheque deposit. Takkan the businessman don't know how to fill meh? And the branch that I dealt with previously, their CDM and cheque deposit machines were located inside the bank. Thus, you can use only at banking hour. I closed off my cc with them since they had long queue every day. People worked slow and everything slow motion. |
