hi,

another trick is to cut down on your fat content food, i.e butter, egg, cheese. those food will increase your body fat, hence will increase your weight.

here are some low calorie foods you can consider, most fruits and vegetables are below 100 calories expect for potatoes, yam, mango, etc.

If you start believing what characters on TV shows say, I would say stop watching TV. They're TV shows for a reason, and it's entertainment.

You get hungry during workouts, I do too sometimes. What do you want to do about it? At least wait until your workout is over I would think. What and how much you eat after a workout is also important. I mean, it's okay to grab a meal post workout and that's one thing. But if you start scruffing double cheese burgers and big macs after workouts and not expect to get fat then it's over-stepping it a little. Eat, but pick your food and watch your quantity.

thanks loll yeah tv characters r for entertainment,but there could be some truth to the things they say sometimes.as it goes,art imitates liife smile.gif

when i got hungry during my workout i tried to forget the hunger but my performance was bad so i had piece of biscuit lol.i was wondering iif it did alot of harm,,but on hindsight isn't that why those muesli//energy bars were created?

Can la, no problem. Or what u can do is to put the banana outside. Bananas release a chemicals that can speed up ripening of itself. If u keep it inside bag then the effect is faster. But 3 hours inside bag, shudnt be a problem la.

Anyway, to your previous question, basically, after an intense workout, your body basically acts like a sponge, absorbing anything you throw at it really really FAST. There's a reason why athletes and people who are serious in keeping lean take post workout supplements and/or fruits such as bananas.

i oso donno what i do that's 3 hours sweat.gif 10 minutes on stationary cycle,10 minutes stepper,10 minutes on the shoulder press (d machine which u pull back handle bars attached to weights 1),10 mins on treadmill,10 mins on knee press,10 minutes on calf press,10 on elipptical,then 30 minutes pre-workout stuff like heat pack.Then i donno where the rest of d time is gone hmm.gif

3.7 kg in 7 days is alot......

hi, im new here. im now 59kg!! 162cm. (gained 9kg in 1 year n i so stupid didnt really care till i saw a FAT PIC OF ME)
so, my point,
i wanna lose about 10kg in 2-3months is that POSSIBLE?? now is holidays are there any useful tips?
i hope before school reopens(in a month time), i can lose about 4kg?

i swim mon till fri for 1hour each session(thats the max time before u get shoo~ed out of d pool)
but i havent really lose weight! 1 month alrdy!
so i recently switched my dinner to oatmeal(hoping it will help, will it?)

bfast and lunch remains the same,
bfast-normal food like wantan mee/chicken rice etc..
lunch-whatever my mum cooks.
tea(only when hungry)-milo and jacob biscuit
dinner-oatmeal+low fat milk and fruit

oh another question, i swim 7-8
by d time i reach home n cook oat will b bout 8.45pm
so should i take my oatmeal before or after i swim?? cause i will still eat after swim cause hungry.

i know very stupid question. sorry.

back to my point, i wanna lose 10kg in 2-3months!

For your height, loosing 10kg is a little too much don't u think? I mean, based on BMI alone and nothing else, I'd say you're probably just a little chubby right now. Nothing some simple exercises and proper diet can't handle. Do u play any sports or have taken up any recently? That could be one of the causes of your weight gain..
