You could try and disable the WAN-PPPoE setup + layer3 port (basically revert back to stock settings), then plug your dd-wrt router with VLAN tagging enabled into port1 and your dir-615 into port2 for IPTV and see if they both can run at the same time. This isn't possible on the Fiberhome because its configured to only allow 1 device per port at a time but the Huawei may be different.
Btw, I'm curious.. this is one of the setups I assumed was possible when I was fiddling with pr0d's Huawei but never tried out. It seems that you're behind double NAT now? Basically you have 1 public IP at the BTU and your PC now sits 2 private networks away from that. Does port forwarding on the dd-wrt work at all?
Yes, you are right I'm behind double NAT that's why I wish to have NAT+firewall only on my WHR-G300NBtw, I'm curious.. this is one of the setups I assumed was possible when I was fiddling with pr0d's Huawei but never tried out. Actually before this, my setup was:
BTU LAN1 --> switch hub --> WHR-G300N WAN [VLAN2.500 with PPPoE dial-up profile] ->LAN/WiFi --> computers
..................................--> DIR-615 WAN->LAN4 --> STB IPTV
Ok, I'll try to disable BTU's PPPoE & Layer3, then connect as follows:
BTU LAN1 --> DIR615
BTU LAN2 --> WHR-G300N [VLAN2.500 with PPPoE dial-up profile]
