4M FAKAP AT NIGHT
ARGHHH

Any of you experiencing your line is synced with the server but you are unable to establish a connection to it?

I have been having this issue for the past few days.. coming from Setapak tho..

4MBPS USER HERE AND FAKAP EVERY NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CURRENTLY SPEED(0.36MBPS)

I just experiencing slowness during 9 to 12 a.m

Speed back to normal after 12 a.m full speed ahead btw it's on ip 115.XXX

Is it where the DSL light is stable but you're not getting any IP (hence not connecting)? If so, happens to me more than a few times. The port hangs but its on the local switch. The TM CS can't detect it. Only a technician knows and can fix it.

Exactly what you just said, i get connected to the exchange but not connecting (no dns/gateway showing). I have made a report, how did they fix your issue?

Yep I experience this a lot

If a disconnection occurs , I can't connect at all. It would just say invalid user name/password , but after for a while it would eventually connect. I am not sure why it occurs

must be connection timeout. ur account is still logged in at tm. wait a moment and usually can connect.

Happens to me too. I just switch off the modem, then switch it back on. Works most of the time. If not, repeat the procedure.

I feel weird after every oversea connection seem very fast. So I go and check my modem DSL Connection Status.

Found out the DSL Path Mode become Fast (last time Interleave). Really impressed with the connection especially response time.

Telekom Malaysia Berhad ™ wishes to announce that there has been a disruption of its Internet services due to circuit faults on the Asian American Gateway (AAG) submarine cable network at Lantau in China and at the domestic international link at Genting Sempah, Pahang, linking Malaysia to the United States (US) and Hong Kong.
Due to this, customers using Internet services may now experience slow browsing while accessing content hosted in the U.S. and Hong Kong. In addition, customers using other IP services such as Virtual Private Network (VPN) and other critical business applications linked to the U.S. and Hong Kong may also experience some service degradation.

To alleviate the problem, some of the links have been rerouted to alternate routes to ease the congestion.

During the restoration process, traffic to Northern America and Hong Kong may experience minor degradation while traffic to other countries is not affected. TM will make further announcements on the progress of the restoration works.

TM wishes to assure its customers that it is undertaking all necessary measures to restore communications services for its customers as soon as possible.

Customers can call TM at 100 and select “Internet Services” or e-mail us at help@tm.com.my for any Internet related problems

OMG! what happen to my Streamyx 4MB??!!... my modem is now showing 2048Kb since they fix the DSL issue yesterday night... sigh****

This is sucks, one another. There is no ending about reporting cable fault. Sick of listening it

A technician had to come and fix it. To be exact, they have to go to the switch you're connecting with and reset your port. If they check from your house they can clearly see your port has hanged. But from TM CS, they can't see a thing. It's a really pain in the ass explaining to them after it happens so many times.

The technician said to me its the port that hangs. The port on the local switch. Not the kind of where your username hangs and TM CS can't fix it.
