It's freaking funny.

Asked for upgrade to 4 mbps, in the end they tell me I am only eligible to 1 mbps due to area..

regarding my speed that fluctuates and my snr margin that is around 6-10 and line attenuation is at 50,they say even if you change the phone line cable from the tiang to my house also got no difference, the problem lies on the underground cable that connects the main hub(supposedly 4km from my house wtf). is this true what he's telling me? or i can opt for them to try and replace the line from the tiang to my house
*
that's true unfortunately. it's affecting old area mostly, oxidised copper, contractor dig some hole, and did not properly re-join it....and many others...nothing much u can do...

my line got 40++ attenuation, snr 10-15, changing the whole wire from the pole into my house does help...snr shoot up...to 25

Hey guys, is your 4mbps being capped to a 512kbps at certain times of the day?

Mine is and it hasn't been solved yet. During afternoon and early morning my speed returns to a normal 4mbps line.

Yesterday Level 2 support claims Network Department will fix my premium ip issue by midnight. Seems not the case as this morning is still the same.

TM 100 level 1 support this morning claims system is down they can't even look up reports. But he tried to transfer my call which but couldn't as line is busy. So early 8.XXam level 2 already line busy.

This one requires persistence - u need to continue hassling TM to get it fixed.

Anyway, mine so far is working fine 24/7.

they are not going to switch me back to 218 as i requested since they say my dslam isn't in the 218 ip range anymore sweat.gif . but oh well, at least they fixed the routing to China with 175.145.*, BT/emule with China peers are mostly slow (used to be fast) but I guess I will live with it for now and let them close the report.

Well their system is still down #!$&%, so I can't through to level 2 as they claim they can't access any reports to do anything.

yes they reconfigured 175.145's routing to China last week.
as for 218.111, after they reconfigured 175.145's routing, I asked solarmystic to test and apparently routing to China on 218.111 is still good.
