I don't think you can expect perfect products. Obviously there are still chances of getting dead pixels, even the expensive Dell 30" S-IPS UltraSharp does.

I've experienced a dead pixel before on my Samsung 2333. You need to RMA it within 7 days to be entitled for a new set. So for those who got dead pixels issues. Do not procrastinate...

Finally managed to see my estimated delivery date on the order of my Dell U2311H. 12-Jul-2010. WOW. 18 days just to receive this monitor?

For those who are planning to buy this monitor and are in a hurry, better think twice.

I think I waited 3 months for my 2407wfp.... and 3 more weeks for replacement for firmware issues...

and with this problem.. they not extend the warranty period?
even right after the purchase?

You can get that on the first page of this thread. Dead pixel tester, etc.

if not mistaken, I've read about a software that does that but it's kinda hard to imagine that such a program exists~ i only know DPT from the first post but u have to use your eyes~

Of course you have to use your eyes...... run through the primary colours... RGB... white..black... then go the secondary colours.. there are 3 subpixels per pixel that could go wrong.. that's more than 6 million possible points of failure on a typical 1080p screen
