Welcome LCD monitor thread reached v9 rclxms.gif
While u care about ms, have to care about input lag too which is no manufacturers advertise the input lag of their displays. Having a great low ms doesn't mean you are safe from lag/delay.

Btw Mr sexualpower, Some DVD's movie doesn't have good quality due to poor source. even suck then .avi. Can't watch full screen, I have few case before, make me vomit moneyflies.gif but u can always view in "original size" for best quality.
About 5ms, should no problem for any usage. I have no problem watching anime, movie, gaming with my 6ms Dell 2209WA. maybe other hardware cause it? what is your pc spec?

Where can i find the review for the latest Dell U2211 and U2311? It's price is attractive, not sure how's the performace. Is the difference between the 8ms respond time noticeable compare to those of 2ms and 5ms?
*
Have to care about input lag now. if it is very low then it is a very good buy.

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ May 15 2010, 08:35 AM)
Well, all the people here is waiting for the review as well I guess. It just came out in Asia so, I don't think we can see any review until it reaches US/UK.
But if anyone here is care enough to give a review, it'll be very much appreciated. notworthy.gif

I think this one won't get many people interested.. opps... there... no HDMI... sweat.gif
*
HDMI is no important for me because i don have ps3 or xbox.

My reasons are:

1. I didn't watch 1080p movie/anime
2. 1680x1050 are enough for my gaming. Graphic card can hold more longer.
3. Best buy IPS LCD half year ago. I love her quality
4. Superb adjustable stand and have usb port (I use to connect printer & camera via usb cable.)

QUOTE(sexualpower @ Jun 16 2010, 05:32 PM)
possible but unlikely, our friend paid for a new monitor~ Dell would've gotten their brand in danger if they supplied even 1 refurbished unit as new unit, besides, they are the ones giving warranty~
*
Their policy should no bad as that hmm.gif out of stock mostly will cause delay. like ST2310 & ST2410 happen before, 3 weeks extended delivery notice:cry:

Dell service can be broken sometime, depend on ur luck

now seems like the luck is not at ur side sad.gif
*
It might be done by agent, 3rd party company. So in case, You call Dell, Dell call agent, agent simply answer, Dell call back you again "Its new unit."

Who's fault? doh.gif

Actually if you are no really extremely care about the color, you may can't feel the difference.

Many of my friend went to my house use my computer, never see they say "Eh, why your lcd color so nice?" while they all are TN panel lcd user. They didn't notice the difference. or the mirror color difference doesn't effect their usage at all. As long as got color. what they care? blush.gif

Hi pal, you are right, setting resolution at 1600x900 is best to watch dvd and videos... excellent.

But i find that 1280x800 setting is best for normal web browsing and using microsoft office.

Anyone else share the same findings??
