U2410 and PX2370.

Both also very nice. U2410 expensive
PX2370 very yeng and elegant , but lack of IPS. and Malaysia is not available.

If i can get U2410 for RM 1200 ill go for U2410.
If PX2370 is available in malaysia i will consider.

Im a gamer. mostly view for movies and FPS game.

Guys what u think?

Budget RM1k

Ask from March until now cant find 1 which has cheaper price.

Call Dell (1800-88-0301) to do the purchase, the website screw up doh.gif

Remember to negotiate for freebies (keyboard, mouse or etc) if you have time brows.gif

Didn't get a chance to do it cause I purchase thru website, something better than nothing laugh.gif

For my reason,

1:i dont like 1080p (its like no different from 1240 x1024 abit increase)
2: i need workspace
3:I need USB hub and etc
4: if i buy LED monitor it cost me RM1100 rather get U2410
5:IPS panel is highest end panel so far.
6: Dell have fastest IPS panel

Hmmm u should understand LCD panel 1st.

Theres 3 kind of panel

http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/lcd-panel-types.php

to summarize

TN
CHEAP.for gaming and movies due to its respond speed.
around 2-5ms, its a really bad monitor for photoediting due to its viewing angle.

IPS panel
EXPENSIVE. For Editing and commercial purposes.
high respond time around 5- 10ms or more. Viewing angle slight change when view in different angle and it is true colour

Even 5750 @ 1920x080 yields pretty decent framerates so I shouldn't worry too much about that.
Ouch, maybe you can try to rub the pixel if it's the case of a stuck pixel.
Or you could try this program, I did but it didn't help much.

I'm sure your panel has no warranty right? If not also wont come here to seek help.

warranty 5 years

Red.... would mean the blue and green are dead....

(1). on a red screen/background.. it should almost appear normal

(2). on black background.. it should be dark too, (3) if it lights up red too, then you have a red bright stuck sub-pixel.

By Dell's stated policy below ... only brignt (stuck) pixels ..... so only the occurrence of case (3), then you'll qualify. One dark/dim/dead pixel (3 sub-pixels) probably cannot get an exchange. So, purposely state it's a bright pixel during your claim with Dell, eventhough it may not be the case.

gonna get my warranty claim by monday.
im sure i can get it.
very irritating the red dot ><

and thx bro. it is a brignt pixel.
