QUOTE(logit85 @ Jun 23 2010, 01:24 PM) if i want high bright both LCD and Led still same dead pixel i dont want dead pixel too how I don't think you can expect perfect products. Obviously there are still chances of getting dead pixels, even the expensive Dell 30" S-IPS UltraSharp does.

QUOTE(CyberSundayz @ Jul 9 2010, 10:41 AM) TN panel, it's not a big deal unless IPS I've used both and TN would have it's advantage too 1. It's excellent for games 2. Consumes 2-3 times lower power compared to IPS hence it's not so hot 3. CHEAP

QUOTE(Top-Gun @ Jul 20 2010, 12:03 PM) Congrats. I just got my U2410 too. Minimal backlight bleeding. Kinda not used to such a big screen in front of me. Haha It took me a while to get used to the 30" too It's really HUGE!

QUOTE(everling @ Aug 10 2010, 07:25 PM) I also just noted the U2711's RM 700 discount that brings it down to RM 2,199. Unfortunately I'm all out of cash. Looks like the price is back to RM2,899 but instead the 3008 drops to RM4,199? It's still very steep even after the discount

Every panel has it's pros/cons. If you're a serious FPS gamer for example, those TN panels would work great. People also have to know that IPS panel takes up double to triple the power consumption compared to a TN panel

QUOTE(munak991 @ Sep 24 2010, 01:46 PM) NEw Ips panel has high respond time, buut there is also cons for it like black is not black enough No matter how high it is, the TN panels are still faster. Plus in the case of Ultrasharp 3008, there is something called input lag. People should read more and google from the Internet. It makes one have better knowledge and know more

QUOTE(HiT-AbLe @ Nov 18 2010, 10:11 PM) Guys wanna ask how do you guys clean the LCD screen? Just a wet clean cloth can do the job? Normally I would just use a damp cloth or a soft brush to clear off the dust It does the job and most modern LCD has a layer of protection in front so don't worry about scratching anything.

QUOTE(8tvt @ Nov 19 2010, 04:33 PM) i'm afraid that protection layer will scratch.. I've done it for years on all my LCD's including Dell Ultrasharps I don't see any scratches at all. Just make sure that you're using a clean damp cloth, not a dirty one with dust all over.

QUOTE(8tvt @ Nov 19 2010, 05:04 PM) i got 1 last time, crt btw.. the anti-glare coating peel off.. end up to scratch all over the screen.. You also know how to say it's CRT Now we're talking about LCD and they are 2 different things. If I swim using the watch that is made in 1920 that my grandfather uses, it will spoil but does it also mean I cannot swim with my water resistant Casio watch? It's not at all a fair and logical comparison isn't it?
