haha true...i also holding on 2 my dying t240 even though the p2770h is roxxor except its 16:9 n not higher than 1920*1200

The 27" Dell has a 16:9 AR. Then again, it still has more vertical pixels than a U2410, which is the only reason the monitor is still attractive to me.

Not really, you can find some at Lowyat shop(s). I haven been to Lowyat for long time so I can't confirm which shop(s).

if got lah ...this past 1 month..the u2211h model hv already been twice given that extra disc [dell call it 'additional instant cash redemption'] of rm40...apart from initial rm179 discount.....if not...well i'm going to get it anyway......pray for it...ha ha ha

u2211h going for rm 649 [after rm 179 disc] minus rm 40 [add disc]......rm609...until 26/8/2010........check dell.com.my [small & medium business section]......happy hunting &...waiting.....

i just received my u2711 today..when I purchased was rm700 extra discount last day..today I view dell.com, u2711 now got extra discount rm750...damn it..

im going to college next year january, and i want take my ps3 along.
my mom offered me the old CRT tv to bring to my hostel, but CRT dont have HD for the ps3 gaming.

so can recommend me a LCD screen that has HDMI, and built in speaker?
if got tv-tuner also is a plus =D

budget is 600-700, and im going to pick a single room, so no problem of housemate destroying the unit or stealing it lol

i suggest you forget about the built in speakers as they universally suck really bad.heck,even a rm25 sonic gear speaker sounds better than most of them.currently the favourite lcd here for your budget is the dell u2311h.it doesn't have hdmi but you can use dvi to hdmi converter.for pc you can use the displayport.the u2311h uses eIPS panel,that's what that makes it better than other lcd around your budget.
