Why not consider U2311H? it below your budget of RM800
HD Movie just look awesome on IPS panel compare to my old Samsung 226bw TN panel. I play Avatar side by side. IPS win hand down. smile.gif

For gaming, depend on how good yr eye to notice the motion lag. I cant detect it.  rclxub.gif

actually i dont mind 23 incher but my desk have limited space so 21-22" is ok already.

How much space is required for a 23" monitor? How long must by table be to enable comfortable viewing (not too close)

Any guidelines on table size for monitors?
*
actually my cpu is on the table (hard 2 reach if put below table) and a 23" incher surely cannot be side by side [that all..he he]......on viewing guide....I'll guess its depends on what r u looking at.....games, movies or just word processing and ur monitor size.....for movies and games [for 23 incher] ....2 - 3' from the monitor is quiet comfortable...for word processing...well a little closer b'coz of little font [high resolution]

Dell IPS 23" does not have HDMI input, only the 24" and above has HDMI input.
Only Dell IPS 30" has stereo and subwoofer output, but price is high.

However if you don't mind the TN panel, the latest with LED backlightning will have HDMI input but no sound output.

Most of owner of Dell Ultrasharp lcd never complain their lcd have ghosting issue except  LCD User which is did't own before, or having UltraSharp Eyes which is rare for human.

Mr BeastX is one of the best person you can ask for his experience about this ultrasharp series since him already own few model before.

For my case. no ghosting issue for my ultrasharp 2209WA (6ms) "millisecond" dude, faster then blink your eyes
*
hv u tried HD movies bro?.......lots of good reviews for this model [2209WA]........thingking of getting one @ the U2211H model........
wonder why DELL put this model [2209WA] pricier than the newer U2311H model....

If you interest to view their little difference between TN and IPS color you can click the link below my sign or google it for more result.  biggrin.gif

More expensive then U2311H... No idea too... tongue.gif

I have 2209WA and I believe the non-standard aspect ratio adds up to the price. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio than the widely popular 16:9. Same goes to 17' 4:3 ratio monitor.

Good for me. 30% game, 10% movie, rest surf and work hence extra vertical space does help but depends on people. Being an IPS, its strengths have been discussed previously, nothing to add. No comparison with CCFL LCD/LED as I migrated from a CRT.
*
same ratio as me bro.......last thing ....hows the brightness level when u work in a bright colour background [word processing etc].....?many users complaining about this [even when 0 value]
