Thanks Mackiddo... What about during peak hour like morning (from jb to woodland) and evening (Sg to jb)?
I am still undecided whether want to stay in SG or in JB...

morning peak office hour from JB to SG is quite ok, probably need 30 minutes to clear the causeway but from Sg to JB during the 'crazy' hour 6pm to 8pm can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hour(s).

Is there anyone commute via public transport through/flow from JB/SG daily either via Tuas or Woodlands? 

How long does it takes to commute one way from:
1.Woodlands
2.Tuas

Tuas - 15 minutes from Gelang Patah - CW-3 public transport , RM4/way straight to Jurong East Station or u can drop by at the bus station nearby Tuas

The onus is on the landlord to you have name registered with HDB that he sublet to you. In addition, any legal documents to take effect when brought to the court needs to be stamped. Stamping fee is dependent  on the annual rental income the landlord will collect. However, many agents/landlord will tell you that stamping is not required for rental of room and only if you rent the whole place. Its all bullshit. As soon as you have your tenancy agreement stamped, the Inland Revenue Board will within 2 weeks send a notice to the landlord for tax, this is the reason why landlords refuse to have it stamped.

All in all, play safe = rent a approved unit + tenancy agreement stamped

There is a bus from Gelang Patah straight to Jurong East then eh.  We do not need to board the bus at Bukit Indah?

May I know

1.If the landlord didnt stamp, does it mean that the tenancy agreement is not legal?

2.If the room tenancy agreement had been stamped, does the landlord or agent should give the tenant a copy?

3.Is it a norm for them to collect our Work Permit + Passport photostate copy to register with HDB?

4.Can we cross the photocopies of work permit + passport like what we do when we apply credit card in Malaysia?

5.Once they Registered, do we tenant can ask for the document as a proof that they had registered?

not sure about this, i rent my friend's aunty house and we didn't make any agreement on that. She just told me if anyone ask, just say i am her nephew. but she is very nice la.. cheap rental and a lot of freedom. haven mention that she will clean my room for me also.

You ask your aunt to clean for you or she offered to clean for you.
