Update us when you exit singapore again.

I renewed mine a last apr, they check my old passport when I first enter SG with the new passport and ask me to do online re-entry permit update before my next exit.

they will need to stamp you passport at the immigration after you do online REP

Anywhere that you all like. I think after a while, home is the best place to hang out and get as much sleep as possible! hehe.....

I think anywhere can hang out in singapore, be it a packed shopping district or a not so crowdy shopping centre, there's always a place to sit around the corner unlike in MALAYSIA.

And if you don't mind no aircond, you can always go to the Park inside the city, DHB blocks, or even Business areas where there's lots of open space to seat & virtually nobody due to being weekends.

i don't agree with you on this. Those shopping centers in Singapore all got no bench for the visitors to sit or there are too little bench around. I can hardly find a seat in a shopping center in SG not like in Malaysia when i go to Sg.Wang, i can always go to Lot 10 and got a nice sofa set there i can relax after shopping.

You must really dislike filipino's.

Of course lar singapore got better benefit compared to maids compared to malaysia, alot of malaysian abuse or treat their maids as nothing more then their personal slaves.

Tell her to pay you compensation or you will tell hdb that she let you stay wihtout informing hdb.

Make copies of your tenancy agreement as well as receipts as proof that you stayed in her house and that she didnt inform you that she was registered with hdb to sublet her room to you.

Since she is scared just coz of the news, she would be more forthcoming if you pursue with this action.

Yea, but unlike malaysia, singapore doesnt have a temp ban on maids due to the number of abuse cases in malaysia.

Great thing is we do not have tenancy agreement. All she want is behave ourself and pay rent punctual. Bugger mana tau she didn't register with HDB.

The old rule had too many loopholes that was exploited to the max: there are even daily-rental houses/rooms with rates about SGD12/day. Just show your face, tell owner how many days you're staying, pay and stay.

Most HDB landlords do not register with HDB. Mine doesn't... and with my neighbours, I act like I own the place tongue.gif My view is that if you don't do anything that makes people complain, you should be quite safe. HDB usually acts on tips, they rarely go house to house unless it's one of those notorious blocks with lots of foreign worker dorms.
