Seems like CIMB credit card is quite popular and it offers a lot of promotion. Just saw the cimb smart reward elite 2010, quite a lot of discount for cimb card holder .

For me, i think CIMB cc is good for people that want to use the installment plan, you can convert you purchase to installment plan with some interest up to 30 months, dont know if other banks has this..

Interesting info ...
Likely Citibank will be tight lipped about it until it is launched. Coz if it leaks out prior to launching, Citibank likely to launch an internal investigation against its staff and staff might lose his/her job. Even the Citibank's media agency will have similar instructions or risk contract breach / termination.

My advise ... just wait patiently for the product launch. Don't trouble people asking to leak out pre-product launch info.

Just now I tried to use my MasterCard at Petronas. Got declined after the "seeking approval" screen. Error code A6. Any idea what this is? Still got lots of credit limit, so it's not because I broke the limit.

Ultima is highly unlikely. May be World MasterCard or VISA Signature. The current Citibank Singapore Dividend credit card is offered in either World MasterCard or VISA Signature.

At the moment, only Citibank Hong Kong and Citibank Singapore issue the VISA Ultima credit card. Not too sure what the requirements are in Hong Kong but in Singapore, it is issued as a complimentary credit card to their Citigold Private Clients. One can be a Citigold Private Client in Citibank Singapore or Citibank Hong Kong with at least US$1 Million of deposit up to US$10 Million.
