Hi wanted to clear some doubts, during cutting do we aim to get 1g of protein per lb bodyweight or 1g of protein per lean body mass?

I do 1g/lbs of mt BW. Sufficiently enough and I think I am overdosing even with that.

Sorry typo. MY Body Weight. If you have low lean body mass high fats, you are eating more than you need. If you have high muscle mass, you are eating enough.

I want to share my understanding about cutting.

Saw this video months ago.

A teenager.

Obese...went on cutting with just veggies such as celery for 3 months.

Cardio...viola....all of his excessive fat are gone.

Basic muscle are visible thumbsup.gif



Basically a diet with only veggies for a few months; no carbs at all. (easier said than done sweat.gif )

Cardio etc.

Until all those excessive fat are 'burned'.

What's left is a little mass of fat, basic muscle and skin.

Am I right?



Then the process of feeding those basic muscles with protein began.

Making it bigger, heavier etc.


Am I right?

Nope only stubborn people who dont want to cut down on eating food excessively tongue.gif

But on a serious note: fat storage on a certain part of body (eg: legs, stomach, face) is all depends on the genetics of the person. Some people store more fats on their face and neck and some store more on their legs and some have an equal storage all over their body. So the "stubborn fat" is due to the person stores more fat on that area of the body. Only way for the person to lose the fat is to continue to be in a caloric deficit to lose fats.

Lol I should have done one meal a day intermittent fasting + keto a long time ago.
The effectiveness is immense.

Before this, I only did halfheartedly with 2 meals a day. I went cincai with the timing.

Now Im doing 1 meal a day, and it's much easier to manage. Big ass oily meal haha.

I'm sticking to this until new year's eve. I don't even care if I dont have enough muscle yet. Just wanna find out if I am disciplined enough to lower my body fat percentage. I have some visible abs even with fats surrounding it, so it wouldnt be that bare. tongue.gif
