Since the MBP is still in the hot topic now, I would like to ask if any of you get the ACPP along with the MBP .. there is a thread on ACPP but nobody answer my question. There are ppl who're selling ACPP for a discount in trade forum and I'm worry with the news about generated and fake ACPP .. so, should I get it from Apple or should I gamble and get it from these discounted ACPP .. will we get a box version of ACPP from these guys?

arghhhh.... the price i paid for the 15 inch mbp can pay for the 17 one now

if me, juz get ACPP directly from apple. the whole point of ACPP is so u dun have to worry about it anymore. if i buy "discounted" ones, i'll still be worried if it's legit or not. juz my opinion

Have to agree with you there..you could always get it from the education store..though im not sure how much the price diff is but its still a heck load cheaper than what i paid for ACPP for my powerbook haha

It will last at least 8 over months The last update to the MBP line was in June last year when they introduced 13" MBP..

Apple will say, as long as the code is valid, then shouldn't be a problem .. but if there is a conflict, someone claiming the same code and we don't have the serial number and proof of purchase .. then poof .. waste the RM .. ACPP for MBP is a bit over RM1K.

i ordered the magic mouse and the case along with my MBP and they are shipping it separately..In fact the case and mouse are already on the way while the MBP is in some plant in China

Now I'm thinking I'm gonna give my MacBook aluminium 2008 to my bro.And get the MBP 17 inch i7.That MB aluminium was a 2.4Ghz and fully upgrade to RM 8k at Pavillion.Now the prices drop so drastically...

can we take out the battery from MBP? or it is a built in one?
if can.. should we take it out when we connect with the AC adapter?

I thought I read somewhere that the 13" was so well-received, that currently there's a shortage in supply...

bcoz they using standard courier lor.. at first i tot that my MBP takes only 2 - 4 days to arrive.. but shipped means apple send the item out.. delivery is how many days the courier company will take..

from my experience, they ship from China in the evening, receiving it here evening next day... maybe mine was an urgent case from AppleCare...

sure o not? normally they use airbill by DHL wor~~ all the items i buy are shipped by DHL using airbill. even if they ship it from the factory in China, it only take less than 24 hours. just 1 time my shipment got delayed 4-5 hours because having some issue passing the customs in Hong Kong.

not sure about Malaysia la coz all my shipment is to Singapore. all of my shipment is by air freight. i bought around 10 items from Apple online store now. and the longest time taken to arrive is I order today 4pm, i receive after 2 days 10am

most probably they got no more stock already. The macbook pro that i got today is ship in Singapore itself. I believe the stock in the Singapore warehouse have finish. so they need to ship from China to Singapore b4 shipping it from Singapore to malaysia.

Well, i ordered my MBP 13" yesterday.
It's not shipped yet. Most probably shipping by Monday i guess.
Since apple store in everywhere needs around 4 business days to ship it.
Delivery by 22-26 April. Takes kinda long.
Guess they have some kind of shortage for intel Core2Duo chips. Lol!
Hope apple is doing it like Dell does. 14 days turn out to be 3 days? Lol!

i guess waiting one week's fine since the resellers in malaysia haven't even gotten the stock yet

Yea, machines will be closed tomorrow after 6pm.
Guess they're having some new MBP stock.
They should be ready to be on sale on Saturday onwards.
Too bad, they do not offer any education pricing. No choice but to order through apple store online.

btw guys is there any downside criteria comparing the new 13" 2.4 GHz to its predecessor 13" 2.26 Ghz?

Well, its just a minor speed bump.
Not much difference on the processor.
Graphics wise, it's still unknown.

Better integrated Graphic card, that was purportedly made by nvidia for apple only. More RAM,bigger HDD,Momentum Scrolling on the trackpad,THE MINIDP supports audio and video now. Yep and thats pretty much it. The reason why core I3 wasnt introduced is because Nvidia are not allowed to put the core I series to be placed in Nvidia motherboards with Nvidia IGPs.

Not bad at all... it's twice as fast as the previous model.
It's just a minor improvement on the processor though.

just tried the new 13' MBP, quite fast but they still install the old iTunes on the MBP =.=, as soon as i turn on my iTunes, it comes out with a message iTunes 9.1 is available for down load

Congrats! Bro, I wonder, when they ship it to you, they ship the macbook pro inside other box(those brown color box) or just the macbook pro box.

After sometime using 6 months with my M.B.P, I realized the space bar key is a little loosen as in not solid key(hopefully I'm explaining in the correct way) I can't recall whether is the key loose since day 1, or it just happened recently... Anybody face the same problem?

Today my macbookpro 13" have been shipped.
I would like to ask, how do you guys know where is the shipment at?
There just email me it have been shipped via DHL Express.
So I guess I will get it by this wed or so right Cannot wait already

Most probably b4 next week's wednesday.
Mine got shipped today too, still stuck in Singapore.
The earliest we can get is by Monday. Otherwise, it'll be Tuesday.
Use the tracking number in the email that u received and u'll be able to track ur shipment.

the mac i purchased before was shipped from singapore.. however the new ones might come from china beforehand.. i got mine within three days of ordering.. but of cos that was because they had stock in hand..

They say tracking number. In the email it is a html link. When I click it, it shows some error
Is there another site? I check via the order number from the first day you ordered to see if it is shipped or not.
My software was shipped yesterday. No news yet though. Got an invoice from singapore as well
