you cannot upgrade your CPU, MOBO and GPU. not by yourself or even by Dell Technician well yes someone claimed changing those hardwares will not void the warranty, but generally and officially - it will void your warranty.
i am tired emphasizing this point, really. i ask FindingScreemo to post this on the front page of V2 but no action. maybe he is forgotten
anyway, i would like to see how someone that upgrading his own expensive laptop like this react once knowing his warranty is voided after done upgrading

TS, maybe you could post some FAQ in V3 front page for some question like this.
Mr. Docter, u are wrong......
it wont void the warranty, officially "Yes", normally "No"
why? let me explain.
For Example, i change my proc, suddenly my laptop faulty, cannot power on, or anything, this is a serious problem, most probably dell will ask tech to pick up and send to warehouse.
When they found out the problem is not ur proc who lead to the faulty, they will claim and repair for u, if it is lead by proc, then they will no repair for u, because Proc is not under Dell's bar code(is my own proc).
The problem i can 100% comfirm, i have few's friend who are working in warranty department and warehouse, i know it cleary. but if u ask those On call Tech Support, they will say void......
u send laptop to the warehouse, dell will pay the company who repair for u, and the parts will send by dell to the warehouse, the company who repair for u doesnt lose anything also.

realy ? weird , id get different awnsers on my end . They say warranty wont be void , but warranty just wont cover the new hardware thats all, but thats when i ask for ram , hardisk , gpu and cpu , didnt ask about mobo .
and lets face facts , they wont know we disected our laptops , there aint any stickers around that would be torn ~

Bro u are right, those high end laptop in dell which have premier+complete cover, is full cover the laptop include mobo, cpu, ram, hdd and bla bla.....
They will not changed the parts for u that the parts hade been upgraded by urselves

yes what you said is true. our specs is under our Service Tag. and don't expect that technician will not know to differentiate between touched and untouched hardwares. unless you rub all the previous thermalpaste 100.00%.
well tl;dr version - just don't.
those techician will know that u changed the parts, but who cares? they just do what dell ask them to do, they wont lost anything also
Docter i used so many dell's laptop, i know it vry vry well.
