its pretty much quite screwed up on dell's side.
i was put on hold for about half an hour while they checked if i was to follow the delivery date on their system (which was supposed to be today) or as per the logistic company's sms (which is tomorrow).
and then one bro here said not confirm? lol.
hmmm i even asked for an estimated delivery time and they say sorry cannot provide. i went like wtf over the line, did they expect me to wake up early in the morning and do nothing the whole day except wait at home for them to come?
and what if they decide not to show up and come the next day? 2 days sitting around doing nothing? *sigh*
oh and i think the after-sales support wouldn't be so pro on my side as well, afterall, the location's in jb & not kl.

Err... Their HQ is in Penang. They have their staffs placed all over the country la. So I think their after-sales-service can still reach you.
I was even in the Middle of Johor in a town called KLuang when I asked them to come over which was the next business day from the day I called. After 6pm they will come the day after the next day making its 2 days. Their technicians are indeed placed all around the Peninsula. If they're overwhelmed with work and give me a valid explanation I will accept as well. Afterall, my engineer came over even after he had an accident, went police station report, then came my place...... QUOTE(zad78 @ Apr 20 2010, 09:36 PM)
As for me last time when claim my warranty, the call center straight said wanna take back my lappy to change the mobo. However I still insist on an onsite warranty. When the engineer came to my office, he came prepared with all the stuff e.g mobo, gpu, cpu and even the power brick just in case... The whole process takes about 2 hours and they did it in my office...so please insist on an onsite warranty coz u paid for it...
Yes. The same for me. I think they ask first but they don't mind giving on-site. Maybe they're pushing their luck to find customers that allow for them to take back in order to ease the load on their mobile technicians. So the few whom I've met in KL are very helpfull and even worked at my place for more than 2 hours reaching midnight...... Seeing matsuo19amon has received his M15x, the number of users for the M15x stands at 26 people, M11x 20 people and M17x 8 people...
