Unfortunately, for the time being, only SPORTS and LEARNING (mini package group) have HD channels on it...
for super packages, Movies....

10 days is just the standard time frame for Astro to install Byond..
Nothing wrong there
It will probably be installed in 3-5 days..

If our History HD sound like UK version, Astro should have bio. HD and Crime & Investigation Network HD like Sky in UK do?

usually 20 pages can be reached in a week..

i know tat i cant terminate my Byond since it was installed in Feb 2010

so if i downgrade my current package ( Dynasty+3 mini (byond) + 1/2 price second decorder (SD) to only byond wif 3mini , Astro will accept?

if yes , so i only nid to pay 3mini + rm20 Byond upgrade per mth rite?

so it will be rm38+rm20=rm58 till next April?

You must be joking ! You start at RM 38 which is only Family so where you got RM58 ? You visit their website and calculate on line that wld be easy to retreive the exact info

rough calculation:

first byond with 3 mini-package downgraded= RM54.95(3-mini package) + RM10(downgrading) + RM20(HD)
second byond with half price discount(still available?)= RM27.48(50% discount) + RM20(HD)

Astro is a good example of why Msia cannot make it by 2020. I registered online for Byond 2 weeks ago. No1 emailed or called me back. They even send me stupid brochure encouraging us to upgrade to Byond. LOL. So I damn bengang n called them today.

She told me to wait 10 working days! I was like WTF! I registered 2 weeks ago n u tell me to wait 10 working days more? So it takes 1 month to do a simple thing like that? I told her she better do it for me within the next 3 days so that I can watch F1 this weekend. Let's see if Astro will mebe call me back next year n tell me to wait 10 more working days. LOL

Bro, many had complained before for bad response through email subscription.
Just CALL them and they are quite helpful.
For my case, I live in Shah Alam, I CALL them to confirm my registration, next day morning the installer call, then the following day install, all within 3 working days only!

May be now Worldcup is so near, I think many ppl also rushing to install, that's why delay a bit ....

Again, just CALL & CALL to re-confirm, good luck mate !

The shitty thing is, the girl checked her computer n she says the system did log my request for Byond 2 weeks ago. Yet she still ask me to wait another 10 workng days. 1 of the biggest companies in Msia n this is how they do biz. If it was a free market, they will bankrap overnight.

You're spot on. I called Astro yesterday and they told me 10 days but today the installer called me and said that they will be installing it tomorrow! I think the 10 days is to protect themselves in case there are delays. Anyway, calling them is what I should have done 5 weeks ago. Thanks guys for hearing me out.

I wonder what type of home insects that you saw until you can feel to vomit...
I bet, that's must be cockroaches or rats? isn't it?

Aha, Bug Brother, on Nat Geo HD. I managed to watch only half of it this morning. Will wait for the repeat at 1.30 am after this. Surreal man, those fleas look reaaaaaaaaaaaaallllyyy scary up close.
But awesome in HD though.

Now, you have "experienced" it and see the cockroaches skin and their hairy legs very very clearly until you cannot eat and always think about that.... That's the miracle of High Definition... and I'm still waiting for local channels to air in HD... really wanna see how our actor and actress face in HD... especially the "kertu" (old) one.. hahaha....
