The thread will only be active if there's an issue with Byond(stretch vs 4:3) or there's a new channel. Without either one, it will be veeeerrrrrryyyyy quiet.

Hi guys, I called Astro yesterday to apply for Byond. They tell me that it will take 10 days for installation. Is this believable? I am in Johor. Prior to this, I applied through one of the "dealers" in my town but nothing materialized after 5 weeks. I really hope to get it installed before the World Cup. Thanks!!

Hmmm strange, just about 1/2 month ago upon received my registration, their Astro Beyond team actually contacted me within 24 hours and installation took place the next day. Astro support center actually promised this, at least I got mine within 5 days as claim by them.

Why now they need 10 days? Is it more ppl applying now ??

I suggest you call and ask them again la, tell them you desperately need it
