because both astro satellites are located at the same orbital position, just bring your byond box along, connect to any astro dish you could find and watch your subscribed packages this way

I think this is special feature for byond box only that can automatically detect new channel, but has bad side effect as you described during channel detection, astro really need to fix this bug

A special antenna is affixed on the roof top of the Car. The antenna automatically tracks dishtv’s satellite placed at 36,000km orbit.

It then provides signal to the Set-Top-Box (STB) through an RF cable. The STB is connected to both the LCD screen through AV output. The system is same as in homes except the antenna is an auto-tracking one .All the features of dishtv are available in Direct-to-Car also

Dish Active
Games
Movie on Demand
Multi-language channels

......Anyways..can anyone tell me if SKY UK broadcasts outside the UK?
I mean are there any satellite TV provider outside the UK that carries SKY channels?
I love SKY's channels especially all their Sports channel and production..
They are tops in producing sport content..
But cant see Astro taking them in..if they even bought in SKY News and Sky Sports News I would be happy.. rolleyes.gif

sorry for asking this question. some1 might have asked before. i just installed astro byond at my new house. how come the satellite dish (antenna) is black colour one? it is also very big size.
another question is, my decorder is black colour one. the colour of display at the decorder is very red striking. is it normal?
*
don't worry, everything you got is normal

old grey dish is 60cm, new dark coloured dish is 65cm, you should be happy astro gave you bigger dish, because you will get better signal reception, less rain-fade crap

yes very bright red LED display is normal, if it bothered you just cover the display with car tint film brows.gif

why, do you still experiencing rain-fade problem?

if you could get hold of quad-shielded rg-6 cable, I think it may improve your signal reception, astro is currently using low quality double-shielded rg-6 cable

all F1 races will be shot in SD 16:9, in order for astro to broadcast in HD channel, the feed must be upscaled

FIA will upgrade all their camera to HD in the future, by then we should have HD feed
