When? I really hope that Astro will bring the recording function for byond....

It seems that still not everyone having the Astro Byond yet.

When I walked around my house area, I noticed that still a lot of people using the OLD Astro dish, not the NEW bigger Black Astro dish for Byond. Either they still not yet getting the Byond or their lazy Installer never change their dish at all.

When I walked along the same road of my house, it is only my house got the new Astro Byond dish. Looks like I am the only Byonder at my TAMAN here.

So, Astro still have a long way to go to get more Byond subscribers.

herm... regarding the subscriber of Byond... has Astro released any number of subscription up till now? cos I notice that in my Taman or at least houses on the same road as mine... My house is the only Byond subscriber.. 

not like the rest of the people in my taman dun have HDTV... dunno la if they really dont...  (this is unacceptable)

or maybe when astro show ria or WLT in hd..

I notice some of SD channel are blank for awhile before normal again while other channel are normally fine...

Just got byond today, hate that I can't control the volume with the remote control from Astro, and I have to put the TV audio level really high. Also, when viewing Standard Definition channels, the volume's really soft but in HD channels, it's really loud. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Got my byond 2 weeks ago but cannot watch HD coz dont have HD tv.. huwaaaa.. any cheap HD tv anyone?

I think my Vierra 40" Plasma TV not even exceed RM3000 I think... HDTV are cheaper nowadays...

I have a few questions:

1. with byond, can I connect to 2 TVs? Both of them display same channel.
2. can new byond card been used at old decoder?
3. is the old card will be deactivated if i subscribe to byond? ..

I am dilemma either to or not subscribe HD. It is because I setup 2 TV with 1 astro. That is the main concern. . any1 can confirm this?

Anybody used Byond with an older dish? My parents' house has Astro that was installed back in 2000. I wonder if the dish will work with Byond.

rough calculation:

first byond with 3 mini-package downgraded= RM54.95(3-mini package) + RM10(downgrading) + RM20(HD)
second byond with half price discount(still available?)= RM27.48(50% discount) + RM20(HD)

Right now that means AXN HD is being retransmitted to the Asia-Pacific countries by Measat-3. It doesn't mean Astro has finalized a deal - if they were making one to begin with - to include AXN HD as part of its HD line-up.

Even if AXN HD joins MEASAT HD channels doesnt mean that AXN HD will join Astro as well...

is that actually astro will launch another "Byond" box that can act as PVR? Like Astro Max?
or just software update...
