So to sum it up:

Asian Panasonic plasma models (both 2009 and 2010) are affected with the black level increase?

And how are the IR on these? I have read some post saying IR is bad (for example with channel logos, gaming) even though panel hours are above 1000. is this true??
*
See post #714 here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1118588/+700 on the views regarding IR on Panasonic and Samsumg Plasma TV.

Any details for vt 3d is page flipping or checkerbox? Also there is a review comparing LCD 3d to plasma and conclusion is plasma is better for 3d due to less ghosting. The comparison is between samsung led 3d vs panny plasma 3d

Spoke to one of the SenQ sales person.. the full hd plasma coming in on april, no exact date. Anyway its a good experience with the 3d tv, everyone should try it.

That means the new 2010 Plasma 42" X series is more expensive than the 2009 model which cost if I am not mistaken around RM2,500.00. X series is only HD Ready.

Expect the new 2010 42" V series which is Full HD to cost more than the 2009 Full HD S series. The 2009 model cost around RM3,000.00.
Bought mine for RM3,050.00.

Thanks

Added on March 27, 2010, 1:26 amIn US the 2010 model came out if I am not mistaken late January 2010.

Go here:-
http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electro...000000000005702

Compare the price & specification for the 2009 & 2010. Strangely in the US the 2010 model is cheaper than the 2009 according to the website.

Thanks

From where you get this price for models 2009?
Don't mix Retail and forumer price.
VIERA TH-P42X10K are still MYR 3,699.00(Retail price)!
http://www.panasonic.com.my/web/pid/7775
Btw,
models 2010 should be cheaper 10-15%

Went to Jaya Jusco One Utama Petaling Jaya 2 days ago & saw VIERA TH-P42S10K Full HD selling at RM3,999.00 with 10% discount. After discount will be RM3,600.00. I think no more stock for this model in retail shops.

TH-P42X10K which is HD Ready should be selling cheaper than the Full HD model. Did not noticed the price for this model because not interested. I think this model still got stock in retail shops & definitely selling below RM3,600.00.

Bought my TH-P42S10K from ESH (Eng Seng Heng), PJ on Christmas day last year for RM3,050.00. The TH-P42X10K is cheaper at around RM2,500.00 but not interested because not Full HD.

Thanks
