I'm confused with what you mean.

In the you tube video, there is too much light output from the bias lighting. The bias lighting shd not exceed a 20-30% grey window in intensity.

Or in plain, words,it shd be a very dim just illuminating outsides of the tv frame when viewed from in front.

If it is too bright, ur eyes would open up and if the gamma is set wrongly, u would lose shadow details.

If you really want to see this floating black on P42V20... grab the Dark Knight bluray.. turn off all the lights..start the movie, watch carefully after DC Comics logo before the bat coming out of the smoke.. the exact timecode is about 00:00:43 - 00:00:44.. careful you might not like what you see..

Wondering if plasma consumed more power than LCD by how many %?
I was informed the surroundings would be hot due to heat dissipation from the plasma .. is true?
I am also torn between 42"plasma and 32" LCD .. missus wanted 32in cos she said no need to big for the hall .. Our distance viewing is ard 10ft or 3meters .. she is afraid 42" is big thus not clear. Somore, it is not Full HD as compared to 32", which is Full HD ..

I was told by the manager they will charge the price differences from Panasonic as they messed up with the stock system.
