QUOTE(rolandhoo @ Apr 13 2010, 06:08 PM) S10K still got stock nowadays? hard to find since it has been discontinued. if the price for 46" is below 3k excluding free gift, i'm sure you'll grab one yeah, why no new model S20K FHD. the new U series entry level FHD must be over my budget since the smallest screen size would be 46"....... QUOTE(vincentboleh @ May 24 2010, 10:58 PM) Imagine, if these unethical dealers are selling at cost and make no money, who is then going to rent big outlets at shopping malls to show us the latest products. Everytime I walk into HN, Best, SH ....... I am proud of my contribution (profit to the company) to the well deserved group of young people who earn their living there. do you think the seller is so stupid? make no money? RM4 for P50U20K + Bluray Player is a scam. looks like you're just a rich guy who's proud of spending money without thinking about poorer people around you. |

QUOTE(anfieldude @ Jun 26 2010, 05:25 PM) I'm confused with what you mean. i understand what you mean. the glowing white is too bright, like a bright aura behind the display instead of creating the greyish intensity wall.In the you tube video, there is too much light output from the bias lighting. The bias lighting shd not exceed a 20-30% grey window in intensity. Or in plain, words,it shd be a very dim just illuminating outsides of the tv frame when viewed from in front. If it is too bright, ur eyes would open up and if the gamma is set wrongly, u would lose shadow details. This post has been edited by Skylinestar: Jun 26 2010, 06:43 PM |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Jul 2 2010, 06:32 PM) Which one is better, Dune Prime or Dreambox HD 800 ? Dune is BD HD player while DM800 is HD satellite receiver. how to compare? it's a totally different thing. Dune has a BR player while Dreambox has internal HD. That is the main difference I know. Any feedback from either users ? Thanks. |

QUOTE(KronenZerg @ Jul 14 2010, 11:41 AM) Wondering if plasma consumed more power than LCD by how many %? FYI, going from 29" 4:3 display to 32" 16:9 display is a downgrade.I was informed the surroundings would be hot due to heat dissipation from the plasma .. is true? I am also torn between 42"plasma and 32" LCD .. missus wanted 32in cos she said no need to big for the hall .. Our distance viewing is ard 10ft or 3meters .. she is afraid 42" is big thus not clear. Somore, it is not Full HD as compared to 32", which is Full HD .. Comments pls .. ps .. upgrading from 29in CRT so need some advise .. |

QUOTE(allycat @ Aug 2 2010, 04:59 PM) NTSC or PAL? Does it apply for BD and DVD? I thought only the Regions is the important criteria. Pls enlighten. NTSC and PAL applies to DVD (not sure about BD).Tks if your tv standard is PAL, and you play NTSC content (can be satellite tv show too), you'll see the juddering. |
