yup,west Msia already have..but I'm more excited about series 7 & 8 of plasma tv...now i can see only series 4.

yupe... just bought mine yesterday at 2499.

Some performance indicators of the new 2011 Panny models are coming in. The ST30 model seems to have decent blacks (not as good as the 8G Kuro) but it does have more accurate colour reproduction that the normal entry level Panny series. (2010 U series in TrueCinema was not too bad but the ST30 series seems to have much more accuracy). A note that the black levels of the ST30 is better than the U series by a little.

The newer series also seems to go brighter than the outgoing range.

I believe for 2D the G series will be the highest. But u never know, Panasonic might release a V later. They added some models later on last year anyway.

The positive thing is that all the newer series except the X series is supposed to be using the fast firing phosphors. That shd reduce the rainbows for people who can see them.

I read Chad B review on the ST30, they pit against the VT25 and it lost out only on blacks and colour accuracy. With that being said, the VT25 is top of the line 2010 model so it would provide a good reference for the ST30 to follow. In terms of comparison, does this make the ST30 slightly below the VT25? The ST30 is definitely better compared to the 2010 V20 right?

for 2D plasma, USA market only got S30 and X3 series, there is no G in the USA 2011 lineup

Got quoted RM4700 for 50V, that comes with the standard 2-years warranty. Doesn't come with any other freebies though. Good price??
