The full HD 3D TV in VT series and full HD TV in V series offer two models each while the remaining 12 models come in five series of D, U, A, X and C, both in full HD and HD.

That means the new 2010 Plasma 42" X series is more expensive than the 2009 model which cost if I am not mistaken around RM2,500.00.  X series is only HD Ready. 

Expect the new 2010 42" V series which is Full HD to cost more than the 2009 Full HD S series.  The 2009 model cost around RM3,000.00.
Bought mine for RM3,050.00.

Compare the price & specification for the 2009 & 2010.  Strangely in the US the 2010 model is cheaper than the 2009 according to the website.

whats the difference between U and V series?

can't seem to find whether it's full hd or just hd ready (or even 1024x768)

mebbe i m gonna try using the 50 brightness & contrast setting n eco mode off for 200 hrs.

btw; jitbeng, washing of the screen = running the full 1080p solid color scheme loop???
