Via a good friend's help, learnt about the special offer from SenQ for 50V20K at RM 4999 with 2+1 yrs warranty and RM 399 for BD45 with 1+1 yrs warranty. Ordered one set today. Think this is a good deal. Can't wait to get them at the end of the month.

Hope that BD45 can play Uncle Ho's DVD/bluray discs.

Will check with Panasonic on whether they will accept the warranty for 4 & 5 th years as the 3rd yr is under SenQ.

Are all HDMI cables about the same quality ? If not, any type/brand I should get ?

Thanks.

Just get the cheapest HDMI cable available

SenQ offer the BDP45 for RM399 to the PlusOne member with 1 + 1 warranty. It's a basic player though..

Thanks bro for your kind advise. I am deciding to get either 50in U20 Pana (V series out of budget) or Samsung C6500

What is the verdict?

V series has a price break now, check it out at Denki, as suggested by some members here...its RM4999

I need some help here...I tried to connect the wireless LAN adapter in the USB to my V20k by it says "not detected"
Is there some sort of special brand/type wireless LAN adapter needed? cry.gif

Me too, I'm wondering if anyone has tested on other brans like dlink, level one, etc. So far I tested with SMC, it does recognize. From the net it is know to work with netgear and panasonic adapter.

Ethernet port is for wired (CAT5E) network. If it is convenient to wire your existing home network to your TV, this may be cheaper and more stable option compared to the wireless option.

Some people opt for wireless because there's no need to lay a physical cable to your router. It may mess up the look in your house.

Hi fellow Panasonic Fans,

I have a question regarding service menu.

Yesterday after my V20 arrived, I went through service menu to check the hours ued, but coz in a bit of hurry..pressed thhe wrong button.

It should be:
1. Hold (V -) + press (info) 3 times
2. Press (2
3. Press (ok)
4. Go to the bottom right and hold (mute) in 3 seconds.

But on the process, I accidentally press (2) twice, and the screen goes all white, immidietly I turned off the TV.
The TV is performing as usual, nothing seems altered. But I scraed that I screwed up the TV unnoticely.

Any mates and especially Bro anfieldude can help alleviate my fear.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thinking to buy the outgoing 50V20K, currently I'm using the old model 42S10K, have been to showroom to watch demo but I can't notice the difference and advantages against my current model except it's bigger in size, more features, but not sure the PQ is really that fantastic ?
