QUOTE(eLife @ Jun 5 2010, 11:36 AM) Our 50" V20 was delivered yesterday. exceeds our expectation and agrees that it's value for money. Supports 12 bit colour from our Dune media player. most impressed with the new filter to reject reflection. big improvement from last year's model How much is this 50" V20 ? Is it 3D compatible?

QUOTE(tim_1335 @ Aug 20 2010, 06:45 PM) anyone here bothered by the floating black levels in panny plasma? my 50 inch U20K suffers from it...but only irritating when watching those films with lots of dark scenes such as Sherlock Holmes. How does the floating black issue look like on the TV? Just curious to know if my TV also having the same problem...

QUOTE(bananalow @ Sep 8 2010, 07:31 PM) any different between lcd and plasma? Generally, plasma has darker tones and LCD has brighter tones. Plasma tends to be more natural in color but prone to image retention and consume more energy.

QUOTE(Jenn77 @ Sep 9 2010, 12:38 AM) Just now hand itchy, switch on ps3 and played a few games for less than 10 mins. After switch off ps3, saw some image retention on my v20k. Then I played a few .mkv documentaries and the image gone, my hours of usage is only 6 hrs (for 2 days) Does that mean after our 200 hrs of break in the unit is less prone to have image retention or it will continue to haunt us? I suggest better lower your contrast and try avoid static image for longer period of time during the first 200 hours. Mine kena last time when watching Astro with static logos even with contrast 50 on normal mode.

So far I think the best performer + budget in mind for Panasonic non 3D is still 50V20K.. wondering if it'll come out with a bigger version like 58" or 63" ...

QUOTE(anfieldude @ Sep 18 2010, 08:29 PM) Yes, it refreshes 24p at 96Hz. The TV itself will automatically detect the source and switch to 24p, if not it will switch back to 60Hz?

Because I'm trying to get the idea of 24p playback issue on the Core i3. Some say if the TV support the native 24p, then it's ok.
