my mistake, it's store on internal memory.
So add a reason for people to root.

but u can use dophin browser so it can store the cache to sd

Maxis is also offering Legend plans here. Not any better than Digi smart plan though IMO.
*
Looks like i was given an inaccurate info =\
Thought Maxis don't have plans to bring in Android soon.
Anyway, the packages are not as attractive as DiGi SmartPlan.

+ and - actually is almost same, if use 12 months contract to compare.
But maxis always lose a bit in marketing strategy , compare to digi (just my opinion).

But a good compete can bring more benefits to consumer

hmm....cant seem to connect to digi 3g network from my work place this morning...still doesnt connect after rebooting the phone, turning on/off mobile network or airplane mode.

installed juice defender last night and then uninstalled it last night. not sure whether this apps toggle with the settings.

anyone has such issue before?
*
ok managed to solve this. seems like juice defender is altering your network APN settings and didnt revert back the original settings to default after the software is removed.

I find the Maxis data plans for Android phones are totally unimpressive.

i restored my phone to factory setting a while ago and got additional space in internal storage (est 35mb) , though i reinstalled back the same applications using backup pro. i myself also dunno why. probably its something like a com it needs reformat from time to time. (and for ur info before i reformat i did clear all caches that the applications in my phone were storing, but didnt gain much space)

and yeah phone browser stores cache in internal storage. i clear them up after each usage as it can get quite big, around 6 to 10 mb for me but it depends on how u use it.

P/S: now my internal storage if around 111mb...previously before reformat was around 75mb. i think installing applications through computer and not through market does have effect on this.

It's hardly competition. Digi smart plan is clearly superior. Although I missed out the fact Maxis offers an 18-month extended warranty (on top of the original 12-months I assume). So pay more for extra warranty period? hmm.gif

Is there any way to move back to previous screens without using the BACK button? Is there a set gesture or something?

Like a bit cacat la, go everywhere with screen but to reverse must click on the button.

Hi, I just received my new HTC Legend with signing DIGI smart plan. It is very weird that HTC Legend presents incoming call as "unknown" instead of phone number or contact name from my phonebook. Once I clicked the "unknown" it will go through "USSD Code running" after that will show me "unknown application". Need advice, thanks.
*
Having this same issue, phone numbers aren't being displayed even when the caller is already in my contacts list. I save my numbers using international format, i.e. +6016 123 4567, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Anybody experiencing this or anybody know how to sort this?

In Calendar, i see My Calendar, PC Sync, <my name> and Facebook.

What does My Calendar, Pc Sync and <my name> calendars mean? I assume PC Sync is the calendar that i sync with my Outlook calendar. But what about My Calendar and <my name> calendar?
