I agree that mobile signal and wifi signals are slightly weaker than similar phones but its still a pretty good smartphone...

I was wondering if any of you have an issue where ur unable to connect to 3g after charging your phone?....i have that problem and will have to either reboot my phone or switch airplane mode on and off to get the 3g funtionality back...in on maxis (3g)

cheers

anyone knows how to display album art in the standard music player in legend? I've created a main folder called Music and then subfolders consisting of artist/album name. in these subfolders, i put albumart.jpg album cover.

however, the std music player doesnt seems to read from albumart.jpg

Added on April 29, 2010, 3:43 pmhow do i use mp3 as the default notification sound? i'm looking at this article: http://www.htc.com/uk/faqs.aspx?p_id=313&cat=&id=126224

but i dont seem to find media > audio > notifications folder. btw, i'm using my own microsd card.

this is what i found and it works:

To add new ringtones or SMS alerts, connect your Desire to USB and mount the device on your PC. Browser to the following folders:

Ringtones: /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones
SMS Alerts: /sdcard/media/audio/notifications
Alarm Alerts: /sdcard/media/audio/alarms

Copy your mp3 files into either of the folders above. Then go to:

Ringtone:Settings > sound and display > phone ringtone
SMS: Settings > sound and display > notification sound
Alarms: Set the sound when adding a new alarm.

Then select the ringtone you put in the above folder(s).

Maxis is also offering Legend plans here. Not any better than Digi smart plan though IMO.

but Paul said this version is supported. Maybe just the step wrong. Just read from china web site, and quite agree with the author

If you just want to "chase the trend" and root ur device, it is really Unnecessary and put ur device in risk.(if you are noob to root)

for App2SD, if you r not maniac/crazy installer, I think 180+ mb memory is sufficient, as nowadays most applications are smart enough, only the core
files are store in internal memory, which is less then few mb. So why want to root ur device.

The only possible reason to root , mostly is because of the visualization of ur device.
Eg. u want to remove those default HTC apps, u want a animated wallpapaer.

So......... if not familiar with how to root, better just wait official update for ur device, secure.

P/S: heard that newer version of android support App2SD. Hope its not just rumor

u got that right. rooting may brick your phone (for noobs like me) so no, not going to root it. Not until I know that I really want (like paid apps and additional space to install more stuff or LWallpaper)
